Private The Black Waters

Illyria ~ Azurine City ~ Dragonne Palace
The reflection pool of Dragonne palace was a powerful source of the Dark Side. When one stepped inside of the halls that held the reflection pool they would almost immediately feel the cold chill that would creep up their spine. Those who were practitioner of the wayward light could feel something bearing down upon them. It was an unbearable sensation for most purely because it took away all semblance of freedom of mind and body. It was a weight that threatened to crush any who were not prepared to shoulder it. That was what the truth of the Dark Side was. Weight, responsibility, and dedication. It was so easy to lose yourself in the smog of darkness, to become a beast soley intent on murder and drowning yourself in a sea of blood and hatred. It was akin to the rush of drugs or the enthrallment of sex, however it was the weak of mind and spirit who fell to the simple taunts. It was the powerful who rose above the surface of the darkness and learned to command the true powers that remained outside of the reach of man.

Amethyst torches were lit in the corners of the room. They cast shallow purple hues over the pitch-black waters of the reflection pool while also supplying the only source of light and warmth in the hall. Above the skies were visible and the evening air flowed directly into the soul of those standing in the courtyard. The moon was high and shined down onto Illyria, yet no light was capable of reaching the Royal Palace, not this night.

In the center of the room, the King of Illyria stood in the center of the reflection pool. There was an intricate walkway that led from one side of the pools to another and he stood in the center, gazing down at the waters below.

The Sith Lord exhaled, gathering the shadow and fury that surrounded him until it found home deep inside of him. The whispers began almost immediately. The teachings of the Dark Side that were made privy to those who had touched upon the great door. The teachings that his master had imparted to him and he would now impart to others.

He brought his hands up in a simple flourish, his fingers lightly brushing against the silken fabric of the black and silver suit he wore. As the Force shifted in the room, the waters below would begin to shift and sway in tiny circles. The waters would quake as Adron brought his hand over his head and as the Dark Side flooded him he felt his power reaching a single center focus. "Now. Let us begin." The waters exploded from the pool's in rolling columns that flew into the skies above. As the black waters formed four, perfectly smooth columns the Sith Lord turned to those he would be instructing. "All of you understand the Dark Side as a concept and some of you understand the power that comes with it. Yet, today you will learn the workings of the darkness inside the heart of all beings. I will teach you to tap into the minds of others and turn fantasy into reality. You will become the gods of those who are lesser and your ambitions and dreams will rule the actions of others."

After having been under the guidance to the King for about a week, Eryneth was starting to piece her life back together. She did have a goal of finding Drauchir eventually, but right now that actually wasn't on her mind. When Adron had picked her up, he had made sure she had cleaned up and provided her several changes of clothes. Not just simple garb either.

These items were practically made specifically for the woman. Giving her a week to recover from her fighting on that blasted, dusty, and desert world, he finally called on her.

Her training was very much lacking, but he had offered her more. Even the ability to find her partner. This was something that was going to become an issue soon. A longing and burning were growing within her from being separate for so long. Pushing it down to a level where she could control it, she joined her master where he told her to meet him.

Arriving before anybody else, she bowed to him and silently wondered if his almost ever-present guards were nearby. It wasn't like she planned on attacking him or anything. A pecking order had been established and she was under him. Keeping her mouth shut, she listened to what he had to say.

He pointed out there was a darkness in everybody and this was something his apprentice was totally aware of. While she had yet to truly discover it in herself, she knew it was there. Focusing on Adron, she felt a power grow within him and her tattoos seemed to pulse slightly as the Force flooded over her.

There was never too many skills for one to learn.

At least, that’s what Xobos told herself as she moved into the dark room, once again summoned by the King and her master. The knighting ceremony had only been days prior, and while looking for a manor to set up shop in had been a nice distraction, it had only taken one comm to remind her exactly what her true purpose was. Thankfully the journey was not a long one from where she had been searching for the perfect place for the new manor, but long enough to change into the armor that made her feel the most comfortable in this galaxy. Faceless and purposeful. Exactly the way a weapon of the King should look.

It did give her the slightest of feelings of happiness to see Dia among those already in the room when she entered, though she did not recognize the white haired woman that had accompanied them. The power she held was evident enough, but it felt wild, untamed. However long she had been under the master’s control and teaching, it had evidently not been long enough to make too much of a difference. That was only what she could feel, however, and could very much be proved wrong in whatever training lesson Adron had lined up for them.

His voice drew her attention, piquing her interest by the towering columns of water that suddenly shot high into the air. The power he talked about was more…interesting, however. It almost sounded like he would be teaching them the ability to create visions. If that was the case, there would almost certainly be words shared with the voices later.

For now, however, there was no emotion shown on her face, underneath the mask, nor throughout her body. She was here to learn a new power, to become a sharper weapon in the King’s arsenal. Personal ideas and vendettas would always be handled second. That was the way of things. And it was the way that Xobos had become quite used to.

Adam was quite early in the room. He made it a habit, to arrive rather too early, than too late. It was a sign of respect and determination. He wasn't really interested in all the people, that would join this class, that's why he never even looked for a second at the entrance when somebody arrived. He just simply didn't care for other beings. Only one thing mattered. The words, that would come out of the mouth of Adron Malvern Adron Malvern . It was the first time, he attended class with others. Most of the time, Adron taught him personally, but not this time. But Adam didn't bother. As long as he gets to learn more, he would be ok.

While he was waiting, for everybody to arrive and for Adron to begin his class, he played with a ring, he always carried on his left index finger. Lately, he even began to learn a few tricks with it, out of boredom. Sometimes, there were days, where he just didn't want to learn. Those days he would be just sitting in his room. Thinking or playing some instruments. There wasn't much, that interested him, next to learning about the force. Many people would probably think, that he's a very boring child, and it was true, but he never had the chance to develop other hobbies due to his parents on Naboo.

After a few minutes, Adron finally began to talk. Now it was time to listen, what he had to say.
