Name: The Black Pyramid of Coruscant / Sith-Imperial Judiciary Central Detention Center (SI-JCDC)

Intent: To flesh out Vornskr's central base of power on the Imperial throneworld

Classification: Maximum-security Imperial Detention Facility / Classified Sith Research and Development Lab

Location: Quadrant A-89, Galactic City, Coruscant

Affiliation: The One Sith Empire technically owns the structure, but Darth Vornskr oversees it entirely

Description: Formally the Galactic Justice Center, the building was partially demolished alongside several structures surrounding it in the aftermath of the Battle of Coruscant. Construction of a new superstructure carried on for roughly seven years since then, the project being led by the Sith Lord Darth Vornskr, Voice of the Dark Lord of the One Sith. The innermost structure was modeled after the concept of a panopticon, a round cylindrical prison with the cells being exposed towards the center, thus providing guards the advantage of monitoring each inmate at the same time from the center point, a tower. However; the inner prison was further built upon by a larger structure that resembled a pyramid in shape, whose design was modeled after the ancient Sith's architecture on Korriban.

The outer levels of the structure were designed to be occupied by various law enforcement complexes along with court houses, barracks, armories, four hanger bays (one for each sloping face of the pyramid), and state-of-the-art laboratories. The apex of the tower, however; was designed to resemble a Coruscanti penthouse, and served as the abode for Darth Vornskr during prolonged stays on Coruscant. The penthouse itself features several living quarters, refreshers, dining halls, bedrooms, a sprawling library, an expansive training center, and an inner sanctum and Sith shrine. The penthouse could only be access via a small hanger, and was guarded by automated turrets, wardroids, and a contingent of Blackblade Guard whose sole duty was to guard and patrol their master's abode while he was away.

History: Originally the structure was the Galactic Justice Center constructed sometime before the Cold War that started in 3653, and had later been destroyed the Battle of Coruscant during the Yuuzhan Vong War and was subsequently rebuilt by the Galactic Alliance after it's conclusion. As it was situated near the Jedi Temple (now the Sith Temple), the new Fellowship Plaza (known currently as the Court of Order) was designed to connect the Temple Precinct and the Justice Center. During the Second Galactic Civil War, the Justice Center housed the headquarters of the Galactic Alliance Guard.

This incarnation of the Galactic Justice Center was destroyed in 44 ABY, during the Liberation of Coruscant. The dark side entity Abeloth, who had been masquerading as Chief of State Rokari Kem and was leading the Lost Tribe of Sith forces in the Jedi Temple, caused widespread seismic and volcanic activity across the planet to distract the Jedi, enabling her to escape with Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai. The Justice Center was destroyed by a column of magma which burst from a volcano erupting underneath, sending what was left of the building crashing down into the undercity.

Since then it had been rebuilt, and remained virtually unchanged for roughly eight hundred years until it was torn down and rebuilt as the IS-JCDC by Darth Vornskr in 844 ABY (construction lasted from 837 ABY to 843 ABY, with it officially being completed the following year).
