OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: Black Hand Collective
  • Classification: Crime Organization\Paramilitary force
  • Affiliation: Black Hand Collective
  • Organization Symbol: (As seen above) A stylized ring centered around a black hand print
  • Description: A mandalorian led rebel cell and crime syndicate that profits from vengeful crime against imperial infrastructure.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Roon
  • Domain: The collective has small safe houses across various planets but bases itself out of Enclave Territory on Roon. Being led by Clan Vizsla, The collective shares in Vizsla domains there.
  • Notable Assets: Ties to Clan Vizsla.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: The collective is run in a "Mafia-esque" fashion whereby a single family(Clan Vizsla) controls the syndicate.
The leader of Clan(And thus House) Vizsla, Known as "The Black Hand" leads the organization itself, While the leaders of other clans within the house(Wren, Kryze and Saxon) all function as leading lieutenants under Vizsla leadership, Assuming they have joined the syndicate itself.
The other mandalorians largely serve as either specialists or grunts according to their own abilities, But are left to their own devices otherwise.
The same goes for non-mandalorian members of the organization, Though they typically do not achieve leadership positions without the favor of the mandalorian families in charge.

  • Membership: While it is possible to merry into the collective's leadership, Most are invited by said leadership to join the organization as Soldiers, Workers or Specialists.
The collective is of primarily mandalorian membership from House Vizsla, But is known to employ mandalorians from other houses and even non-mandalorians on a case by case basis. This allows the organization to keep a moderate amount of soldiers and mercenaries as well as a healthy workforce of hired specialists and grunts alike.

Most are discovered and approached by Aloy Vizsla herself, Who takes care to nurture a family-like bond with the entire organization when possible, Recruiting those she believes beneficial to the family and seeing them like brothers and sisters in arms.

  • Climate: The collective is first and foremost; A family. The "business" as they call it, Is run by a mandalorian family itself, Who's leader chooses to extend that bond to the entire organization. The collective's members are taught to view one another as brothers and sisters in arms, And to always have each other's backs no matter what.

In battle, The collective is organized into various squads and fire-teams of friends and family known to work well together, Though they are more of a loose cut paramilitary force than a standing army, Having more in common with republic commandos, Rebel cells and mercenary marines than professional soldiers, Despite having the skill to boot and then some.
They are not particularly organized, But make up for it in individual skill.

This family is not all wholesome however. The collective's membership comprises primarily of Mandalorian Ex-Special forces and sith purge survivors who have taken justice into their own hands, Forming a vengeful crime organization and rebel cell focused on bloody vengeance against all sith and imperial factions regardless of political associations. While many within the collective fight for freedom, Many more fight for simple vengeance, And are content with racking it up in small but ever increasing increments, Whether that be sabotage, Piracy or Assassination.
They consider themselves the devil that demons fear and take joy in removing that ilk from the galaxy.
There is a silver lining to their activities however; They are as much vigilante as they are criminal, And have zero tolerance for slavers or drug trafficking, Often eliminating both with as much prejudice as imperials.

  • Reputation: The collective is fairly new on the galactic playing field and has little reputation. Those who have interacted with the collective however know that they are a family first and foremost, With a bond that may even transcend their mandalorian creed.
Outside of this they are known for being a cut above their criminal competition, Employing ex-special forces to eliminate rivals and their sworn enemy; Sith Imperials.
This has earned them a reputation as criminal boogeymen despite their less subtle activities, As well as being highly skilled pirates and assassins.

To their would be competition, Most gangs and criminals either avoid their turf or come to do business. Smugglers and arms dealers know that they are welcome to sell and smuggler goods freely in Black Hand territory, And that they pay well for these services.
Most others however, Know them by one simple rule; "Don't kark with Black Hand, Black Hand doesn't kark with you", And follow this rule religiously, Lest they be visited by beskar-clad commandos in the night.

Curiously, There is one exception to the rule; Black Hand does not tolerate slavers or drug trafficking. They are known to set aside equal time to eliminate slavers and imperials alike.

  • Curios: Hand print painted on armor, clothing, or sometimes tattooed to the body. Not a hard requirement but many do it for the style.
  • Rules: The tenants of the collective were similar to the Resol'nare or "Six actions", But has a few key differences. The tenants are Aliit(Family), Cin'vhetin(Clean slate), Gra'tua(Vengeance), Shuk'la mircin(Broken cage) And Cabur(Guardian).
    Below is the explanation carved into the walls of collective safe houses;
    • Aliit: The collective is a family. Family is more than blood. Never turn your back on family.
    • Cin'vhetin: Once you join the family, Your slate is wiped clean, Your past sins forgotten.
    • Gra'tua: We seek vengeance for the fallen. fight the sith and their empires now and forever.
    • Shuk'la mircin: We will have no masters, Nor will any who meet us. Break the cages and free the shackled.
    • Cabur: We must protect the innocent caught in our war.
  • Goals: The collective seeks vengeance against sith and imperial factions, As well as to profit from crime against them. Through this targeted crime they seek to bring prosperity and freedom to their people back home, And expand their ranks to better wage their guerrilla war against the various empires and sith puppet masters across the galaxy.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
It started with the Mandalorian union. A mandalorian named Kreslin Westwind had successfully taken mandalore in rebellion against the sith empire, But it cost his forces dearly. With the limited support of his underlings, He proclaimed himself "Mand'alor the Reclaimer" and set about rebuilding the mandalorian civilization there. But he was set upon all sides by enemies, Including Apollyon The Betrayer Apollyon The Betrayer , Who led the sith Death Watch insurgency into the union's lands.
He tasked the young Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla with commanding Nite Owls and removing this insurgency, Beginning a short but ruthless and bloody civil war.

When it came to light that Apollyon was Kreslin's long lost wife, Aloy felt that he should be leading this war from the front like herself and not letting young mandalorians die for his mistakes. A sentiment that only increased when her adoptive mother was very nearly killed by Apollyon.

As distrust brewed between her and Kreslin, Aloy left command of the nite owls and returned to her home on the planet Roon, Claiming that the Mand'alor did not trust her due to her status as Alor of Clan Vizsla, And was jealous of the incredible influence she had built during her service, Sending her and her family against ever increasing odds with the intent for her to die in the field. Whether that be the truth or not, The majority of the nite owls and Vizslas joined her on Roon, And Kreslin mysteriously vanished soon after.
The mandalorian union soon collapsed under the weight of economic strain and Apollyon's vicious attacks, And the entire union had evacuated mandalore without leadership.

Since this perceived betrayal, Aloy Vizsla has used her influence within and without the mandalore sector to build the "Black Hand Collective" as a means of supporting the mandalorian war effort against the sith on her own terms, Free of the shackles put on her by mandalore's government.
While they are a relatively new piece on the board of galactic crime, The collective has begun to make a name for itself in the outer rim, Attacking imperial shipping and aiding various rebel cells and criminal organization's who's goals align with the collective.
