The Bad [Invite Mini-Event]

A flurry of blaster shots in the corridor drew Domino back out of her temporary shelter and the heavy blaster in her hands barked out again as she once again took to it. Her men had arrived and engauged the few souls brave enough to poke their noses out again. They'd actually taken the passage relatively unopposed much to the Twi'lek's surprise. She'd expected the fighting to be much fiercer but the pirates had never seemed to try and steal the initiative from her initial push.

"Sweep and clear that room, remember to check your backgrounds." She instructed the fresh squads pointing to the only dor on the north side of the hall they'd come to. She hadn't matched it up to a map yet, but it was room 5, the central lab. The doctor wasn't supposed to still be in there but her people would gather what remained of the data or experiments and tests before destroying the physical equipment with demolition charges so that the enemy mightn't benefit from it as well.

As for herself, Domino spent the last of her blaster energy on suppressing fire and drew her massive revolver after slinging her borrowed weapon. Thumbing back the hammer rotated one of the .500 magnum shells into place and, thus prepared, triggered the door opposite the one she'd sent her marines into open for her own inspection.

Blaster fire formed a wall on Vulpesen's sides, and in front of him, was an intense back and forth as he deflected shot after shot back into his opponents. He could smell the sizzle of nocur oil and heated phrik as his coat took shot after shot from an imperfect defense. Of course, that was what his coat was designed for. He was a duelist, made to fight other wielders of the lightsaber. And the energy resistance of his coat was made to survive his less than blaster focused form of fighting. Of course, being trained to fight against the galaxy's most force users, this made Vulpesena nightmare to the common soldier. Taking a moment and a bit of trust in his armor, Vulpesen gathered his wits, then extended a hand. The enemy blaster fire would stop all at once as a ripple of force energy pulsed down the hall, scattering all who were trapped in the confines of the walls. "SECURE THE ROOMS!" his voice boomed out towards his men who filtered out into the rooms lining the northern hallway, obeying their Valde's command as he continued to assault the enemy soldiers, now with a veritable storm of golden lightning.

After walking through the door way…

Allana was expecting to see blaster fire. There was none. There was blaster marks upon the ways. There was also dead people laying in the corridor. But there was no blaster fire. So, she happened to miss combat. That was absolutely fine with her!

After she shrugging her shoulders she took a left, which would take her directly into the barracks.
