Alli glared at the man. " If I wanted you arrested I would of done it before you got here, now put the scrambler down and sit, we have more pressing issues to address than you being afraid of your own shadow. " She sighed. " As was discussed the proposal is for us to secure our own sector of space, to be controlled by us, where we don't have to worry about interplantary governments shutting down our experiments or factories. We can do whatever dirty little secrets we want, I do believe we are missing one who was interested in the merger, but none the less we would form a board to govern this government. " She was glad to she she wasn't the only sane one here. " Now any concerns or issues that you think we need to address? "

Filled with overwhelming embarrassment, the Neimoidian pocketed the scrambler and took a seat. "I apologise." Glaring at Vyperion, he turned his attention back to Alli. "Are we forming this organisation as a military organisation, or a more... peaceful affair?"

"I don't imagine I'd be here if there weren't military involvement to some end. The way I see it, if you companies want to keep groups like the Republic from sticking their noses into your business for whatever 'altruistic' purposes they make up, then you're going to need a military backing you. I see it as a bit of a symbiotic relationship we have to start here. You folks provide me with funds and materials for war, I will handle your wars. Simple as that." He shrugged and looked to see if anyone had an argument against that.

Zev studied the room, he hadn't made a comment on the green mans fear of being arrested or the fact that he called him out as a mobster. Stargo couldn't really deny that fact, he was as much a mobster as the Hutts, but he prided himself on being much smarter. "Would this board create laws for each sector? I see this becoming somewhat problematic if interior scuffles were to occur."

"What sort of laws, I mean I plan to kill those who slight any of my buisiness interests... or ship them off as slaves. but we can make laws, if we must , what are you proposing? and of course, we all are required to either donate arms, or money to the defense budget. of course we don't always have to defend. " The goal was to make them powerful enough to be too much of a bother to deal with but not too much of a threat to actually deal with.

Zev was surprised, he expected her sort to want laws...perhaps he had misjudged "I propose nothing, I assumed that you would suggest we have laws. In truth, I would prefer it if the only law was that there were no laws."

"Laws only work if the law-abiders agree to be bound by them." Sentepeth stated. "And without laws, a man is free. Freedom is dangerous. It drives a man to ask questions that he should not ask, such as: why are there people richer than I?" The Nemoidian added, his tone more grave. "And then you get uprisings. Revolution." Shaking his head slowly, he sat back in his chair.

Zev looked at the fat Nemodian "Freedom is what we need, if we do not uphold the oppressions that the Republic and Sith do then we will get more citizens and therefor more business. I do not know about you, but I have issue with...disappearing the more troublesome members of our society if need be."

"He's right to some extent. There should be some... ground rules, at least, if no law. Taboos if you will? I would think that number one would be no sabotage within the organization. If we are associated we stand stronger. I understand competitive business and all that, but no out and out doing harm to our associates. If one of our companies looks bad, it makes the rest of us look bad. Keep your dirty deeds to companies outside our sphere of influence and to things, if you feel you must, that don't show to the public. That includes piracy. If you start having privateers attacking each other, then it falls to me to defense, which means that I have to come down on whoever instigated it." He looked at the desk as he thought this out. He had to be pragmatic about this. Simplistic but encompassing.

"Honestly, I think that should pretty much be the main 'rule'? Save your viciousness for those who aren't our friends."

"I find these rules agreeable." He then turned to Alli, glaring angrily. "Save your viciousness for those who aren't your friends..." He smiled, but it was a facade of irritation. "Muunilinst ring a bell?" Clasping his hands, he sat back, in an attempt to avoid disruption.
