That isn't how you make a Sandwich

"it does have a stomach I think, though it is mechno organic for many things. So i do not know how well it will work with vong biots but we can try." She was looking at it and at Sorel as she got something to eat and was walking around in the room to give them a small area to look around. "I think everything here is working out well though. The ship hasn't tried to eject you so there is that and she might even like having you around." Orihime looked at Sorel as she went out to work on some of the other things that they would be able to get here while the biot drods were moving around the ship to check all of the systems with a small look. "it looks like it is all setting itself up well enough."

" ok i'll look for some standard ship weapons would a neural net work?" she asked [member="Orihime Ike"]
" Look this thing gives me the hebegebee's it's like standing in a fish and being asked to opperate on a person who is still awake." she admitted trying not to let her own feelings take over. ok i recalll an organic ship named the Vagabond it had these weapons named the scyth and Mace. i'll have ti do some reserch mind.

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
The conversation between the others was interesting but much of the detail and meaning was lost on Sorel. But one point struck her. What if the ship didn’t like you, or you offended it? It was an interesting concept.

So Sorel kept the others company and offered to lift and carry when required – but she knew she had limited scope to add anything of real value, so she pottered around and allow the more scientifically minded to lead the way.

Orihime was looking at everything there and she had heard of the vagabond but had never thought about it. The tendrils this ship had were kind of like the mace itself that would be able to work on some of the things. "I don't know, we should be able to get a neural net working on things but we are not certain how it will feel so we'll ask the ship and see if it likes the idea of the net or some fo the other weapons. i know the anti matter pods it uses are very different to many things." The pods were the promary weapons that it used and those things were recorded really decimating imperial fleets. She could see it working out for them as the ship spoke looking at them. "Oh you want to give me a gift..... is it my birthday?"

"Dont look at me thing makes me... yah know im a bang bang, weird guy. " Kami shrugged trying nor to show her unease.
" uther yhan thr weapons the only other things i can think of are droids. but that.... i may have an idea."

Orihime looked at her as the jedi knight offered a hand. "THat is alright, come on you can go bang bang and check out the weapons already here while getting an idea of what there is." She offered a smile before motioning to go through the ship and the doors opened giving them a look on her face before walking down the hallway to follow the droids that were going over into the vents of the ship. Some areas that were on monitors and displays for them to go over until Orihime stepped in and some fo the displays showing the large hanger with the ships in it was on display. Other readouts for what it was producing as some of the shipments had arrived. "Looks like the ship parts have arrived."

"OK question. this thing is alive right? is it force sensitive? cause im thinking. giant lightsaber." Kami said with a child like giddyness. sje almost hopped upp and down giggeling about power cores and giant Knyber crystals

"From what we have been able to see with her, yes the ship is alive and filled with the spirit of a force user who is able to control it bu...." She looked at Kami and was giggling to the idea as she was wantignt o see it and yes there was a giddiness to her that she was wanting to work on. "A giant lightsaber would be awesome if we could do that but I am not certain." She wanted to work on more of the thing shere bringing up some of the weapon systems as the anti matter pods were on display for many to see and there were ion weapons, anti fighter weapons along with the superior hyperdrive that the ship would be able to do instead of being like vong ships.

" just give me a list of weapons you need. it'll stop me freaking out. and give e something to couscous on other than the creepy walls and whatever."
Kami sighed the burst of energy disapatinf on to a sigh.

Orihime was looking at her when she thought about it giving her a few ideas before she was looking up at the different weapons they would be able to get. She wanted to work on it and leaving some places that Sorel would be abel to join them and come around to help. The Ship was showing more on the display. "When it comes to weapons, I have been working on many things for ourselves here. The ship upgrade they brought o allow me to grow fighters and personal craft is a nice thing to have and they will need defensive guns in or around the hanger. I don't have much in the ways of internal defenses aside from ejecting and using some of the stomach acid to protect myself.... oh and vacating the air from a section."

Sorel listened and learned. She was getting knowledge from all sides now and the revelation that the ship was able to grow its own craft was amazing. As ever, thousands of questions buzzed around her head but she kept them to herself in case she derailed the process.

And she was also fascinated by how the ship would integrate with non-organic weapons, but she figured it would be similar to having a prosthetic hand.

And as she thought of this, Kami added a new variable into the mix. “Organic droids? Really? How?” The concept was more than simply interesting, it was fascinating.

organic droids.... Orihime looked at her while she motioned with a hand for one of the people there. Brown hair and wide eyes there were looking over a screen. "Well the ship might not be able to make organic droids but." She motioned and the biot droid that they had spent a great deal of time recovering the information on and how to make them sighed almost taking a small combat knift out and her hand before she was looking for a place. A small patch being cut into when she winced pulling away the flesh with blood coming out. The metal frame of her body with synthetic nerves and muscle that displayed itself over the flesh itself. "We have developed bio-mechanical droids that function like normal beings but have the endurance and skills of droids."

Sorel was still trying to get her head around the concept of an organic droid. Wouldn’t that be…a person? What differentiated a droid from a human – or a clone for that matter? But such theory and conceptual speculation was beyond her comprehension and she saw no reason to join the debate.

“Bio-mechanical sounds promising and composite bones seems a sensible option too.” She hoped the others were not going to look to her for ideas. On this particular outing she was the brawn as opposed to the brains. Pointed in the right direction she could achieve plenty, but she needed guidance.

Orihime was looking at more of it before she stretched out and they would be able to do a lot of things. She was uncertain until they moved around. She was looking at parts of it with a bigger look on her face until she sat down in one fo the seats on the bridge. "We'll think of some things, with the biots she know a lot of what we can do and there is a couple more things. She was looking at the screens as the ship was traveling the there was some other things withint he shipwomb that the OriRel was developing. "These scans though look to be showing what the ship is making, its own ships and things that we might be able to use could come in handy."

Making? Sorel almost said it out loud. She was definitely not the brains of the operation. She had wisdom for sure but that was not the same as intelligence. Orihime’s grasp of technical matters far outweighed her own. Sorel’s work with droids and ships was instinctive and not based on any real knowledge.

And then she followed Orihime’s gaze to the screen. It wasn’t just that the ship was creating its own smaller ships, it was the manner of it. She wasn’t sure what she expected but this was like watching a pre-natal scan as a mother carried their baby as it grew inside her. She wondered if she would get emotional when the ship gave birth – or if there would be a parent-child bond.
