- Scouter: Decent speed maneuverability and low profile makes the Quaerere class vehicle ideal for scouting, the open top aspect providing quick and easy dismount for the operator.
- Anti-Personal: Use of laser cannon and other anti-personal weapons means that the Quaerere is good at dealing with infantry and other infantry vehicles.
- Second Line: The less the adequate weaponry for armored targets makes the Quaerere a second line vehicle, not being used for frontal assaults.
- Exposed Back Having no roof on the turret and back plating means the Quaerere is very exposed to attack from behind and above.
History
Further development of the Tythish military and Imperial guard called for an armored scouting vehicle with supporting a decedent fighting elements to it in the care of combat. Many ideas were put forward though many required the development 0f new chassis and other aspects, though one proposed design did catch the interest of Princess. Such a blueprint were to use the existing chassis of the TUV2L-Auxilium such lowing cost and making production quicker and easier. Due to the increase in armor for a more front line role a along with a larger engine to keep up it's top speed some sacrifices had to be made, mostly on the turret armor and amount of arm present of the craft. As such the rest of the craft was modeled in a similar fashion to the CAV
Primary Function
The main purpose for the Quaerere is to act as a recon vehicle that can also serve as a fighting vehicle if it encounters the enemy, it's low profile mainly to keep it concealed when on patrol. It's thick armor plating and shielding does well to prevent frontal attacks and damage to the main structure, and if need be can act as a portable shield for troops on patrol.
