- Description:
- Meant to supplement Corporate Troopers in their normal operations, Auxiliaries are the most common form of corporate "soldier" found in Tetron Centrex, as they can be found on most any colony owned by Tetron, and are themselves sourced from local colonist populations. Because of this, they are sometimes derogatorily called "Colonial Troopers," and are more often than not comparable to a well-trained militia or irregular infantry than a true army. Despite this, the colonists that make up the Auxiliaries are tough and full of grit, and what they lack in equipment and training they make up for in morale and a steely determination born of continual hardship.
- Headquarters: Bonadan

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Tetron Centrex’s Corporate Security Auxiliaries—known widely and somewhat dismissively as “Colonial Troopers”—originated during the corporation’s first wave of expansion into the Parthovian Cluster. As Tetron rapidly acquired and developed mineral-rich worlds, the cost of deploying fully trained Corporate Troopers to every new colony proved prohibitive. Instead, Tetron adopted a hybrid security model inspired by early frontier militias: colonists themselves would serve as a first-line defensive force, trained and equipped by Tetron but tied directly to the worlds they protected. These Auxiliaries gained a reputation for stubborn resilience during the resource conflicts of the cluster, most notably in the aftermath of Tetron’s war with Likon Engineering. While Likon’s forces often relied on precision-engineered military detachments, the Colonial Troopers countered with homegrown tenacity, using their intimate knowledge of local terrain to outmaneuver and outlast their opponents. Their performance during these conflicts convinced Tetron that a dedicated auxiliary arm was not only viable, but economically essential to sustaining the corporation’s growing territorial footprint.
Over the following decades, the Auxiliaries evolved from improvised colonial militias into a semi-formalized arm of Tetron’s security apparatus, headquartered—like all corporate military affairs—on Bonadan. Though still considered a supplementary force rather than a true frontline army, their numbers swelled to across Tetron space, with Hazardteams and Squads garrisoned on nearly every Tetron colony. Equipped with standard TC-series weaponry, lightweight Corporate Field Armor, and an array of specialized detonators, Colonial Troopers became the backbone of Tetron’s planetary policing and defensive operations. Their reputation solidified as one of dependable grit: not elite, not glamorous, but unbreakably loyal to the colonies they were drawn from. Under the watchful oversight of Prex Oda Duun and the battlefield-hardened General Greks, the Auxiliaries continue to serve as Tetron’s most widespread—and arguably most culturally rooted—security force, embodying the corporation’s philosophy that profit and survival are inseparable.
