To quell the tempest softly
Ukatis had been…yeah.
Nearly all Alliance personnel that had been present, herself included, had been caught off guard by Cora's sudden engagement to Prince Horace. Accordingly, chaos ensued. The Padawan hadn't seen her father for a week following the party, given how entrenched he'd been in heated political talks.
And so, Cora returned to Coruscant as if nothing had happened.
But things had happened, and there was little that someone of her particular station could do to smooth over a chandelier crash or a malfunctioning droid. What she could do, was check in on a friend who'd been more disturbed than most at her upcoming nuptials.
This was how Cora found herself in the temple's hangar, standing in front of the light freighter that served as Jasper's home. A canister of tea—a blend she'd concocted from herbs and plants found on her homeworld—was clutched snugly in both hands.
Shifting the gift to the crook of her arm, the Padawan curled her free hand into a fist and rapped her knuckles against the ship's door.
