Request Terrorist Cells - Feedback Requested

Hey All,

Back before I(well, Jon) killed off Delila here, we had a fun little background fluff group called the Ithorian Foreign Legion. Basically it was a rebel terrorist cell who went around "liberating" various planets and rescuing civilians. Think blowing up planetary shields, infiltrating Senate chambers, hit-and-run attacks on enemy positions, blowing up space stations, etc etc . Basically chaos in the name of freedom.

The background is mainly Ithorians but humans and all other species had joined the cause. A true rebel cell.

Now, I have toyed with making this a minor faction in the past but didn't have the time or vision. Months later the desire to make this faction is still strong so I'm feeling this might be a good idea on my end.

Now this is where you come in - realistically how would people feel about this on the board? Is there an appetite for collaboratative RP with this? Obviously attacking NPC targets isn't as fun as blowing up Dominique Vexx 's campaign office.

The faction would be pure chaos. No social threads. No beaches unless we're storming them. Everyone is a target.

See, this is what gives me pause. Is this too much like the Wild Space Rebellion (I know nothing aobut them besides they have Jedi) ? Realistically there is only so much room for liberation activities.

I will say I picture the Ithorian Foreign Legion targeting THR and the Jedi, as well as the Sith and Imps. Like I mentioned, chaos.

In all seriousness, I think it would depend on a few factors. Things like location, the equipment you use, your overall goals, etc. At a glance I think you’re different enough because you seem more committed to spreading chaos across ALL factions and not just the “bad guys “

Worst case scenario: you put something together and see if tread any interest. Might at least try!

I'd defs be onboard for something like that. Just a cell - like the Lothal Rebel Cell in Rebels - just going around everywhere and doing stuff. I'd love that, as that is what this character was made for originally.

I will also not mind as an MFO of Iron Covenant to incorporate story like that during the wars we cause and stuff. I would love a little faction like that.

So I always say go for it. Do what you want and have fun.

I think we do have some general people interested in a rebel style thing. I’m not sure why the current iterations aren’t taking off. I feel like there is interest.

My advice though is don’t limit yourself based on what’s out there. Just have fun and see if it sticks. Maybe hook up with some of the other rebel writers and cause some shenanigans.
