Mugg Fallow. The name seemed to fight its way out of the mouth. The world wasn't a pretty one. Tony stared out of the view port at the world below. A desert planet with a ring of derelict ships surrounding it. Tony wondered absently what might have caused so many ships to remain in orbit in such a fashion. Probably one of the galaxies many super weapons. They had a tendency of appearing out of no where and racking the populace with unabashed death. Still, Tony merely shrugged. The scanners were reading some kind of ruins on the planet below and he was very excited to get started. He checked the pressurization one more time before he began his descent.
The cabin was small and cramped. A rental to be honest and a cheap one at that. Tony was not a wealthy man. Small crates acted as chairs and the floor was black tile. The tile shown with a bright sheen of some sort of cheap plastic that squelched anytime you walked on it. The noise was quickly getting on Tony's nerves. The roof wasn't very high up and taller people would probably have to duck to get through the door ways. Bright glaring white lights hung from the ceiling, burning any retina brave enough to stare directly in their midst.
He pondered on the planet below. What secrets were locked away beneath its rolling dunes? What happened to the people who had once lived here? How is it that a whole civilisation just disappears without a trace? Still no matter the case Tony was determined to find out the answer. He had never really been exploring. Hell, he had scarcely been of Artisia before the war. Now though, now here he was. How exciting. He hoped the ships auto pilot could navigate the ship ring okay...
