Intent: To create Krest's Templar Armor that he remade after taking back his mantle as a Templar Knight.

Development Thread: If needed.

Manufacturer: Krest

Model: N/A

Affiliation: Krest

Modularity: No

Production: Production: Unique

Material: Durasteel, Shell Spider Silk, Armor Weave

Classification: Multipurpose

Weight: 7 kg.

Quality: 5

Special Features:

  • Durasteel offers some protection from blaster fire and vibroblades.
  • Shell Spider Silk is blaster resistant, or at least to lightweight blasters. Heavier blasters or rapid fire can easily tear through the cloth.
  • Armor weave offers a last layer of protection from blaster fire, as well as a comfortable compared to the armored suit.

Description:

Krest, after retaking his position as a Templar Knight, felt it necessary to remake the armor from the now dead order. While it's not exactly like the armor from the original, it suits what Krest views the Tempalrs as. Guardians of Freedom. The underlayer, made of armorweave, rests comfortably on the wearers body. It offers some protection and cushion from light blaster fire and hits. Of course, it wouldn't do much against heavy fire or heavy blows.

The real armor comes from the Durasteel. Despite being made lighter than normal, it helps to protect against most fire arm blaster. It has no defense against lightsabers, but that wasn't the purpose of the armor. Lightsabers for Krest are easier to defend against than multiple shots from multiple angles. Needless to say, the armor isn't impervious and can break after enough shots.

Finally, just like the original armor, Shell Spider Silk was added for a last part of protection, as well as to enforce the Elegance the original offered. It's useless against heavy blasters or multiple shots, but the protection against small arms is helpful on its own. It's simple armor made to look nice in an effort to enforce the beliefs of the Templar Order.
