Anara Valnor
The Crimson Siren
Dromund Kaas
Night had settled upon the capital city many hours ago and while many were preparing to retire for the night, Anara found that sleep eluded her once more. Far below her balcony the lights of the city burned bright, those that served the Emperor scurrying about frantically in the hopes of pleasing their Lord. They were akin to cadaver worms in her eyes, each of them starving and eager for fresh meat to bloat their pathetic bodies upon. Her contempt for the Emperor's leal servants was clearly written upon her face as she turned her void eyes toward the heavens. The night sky was spattered with stars, some she knew and others she was learning, but the moons were what caught her gaze. They were waning, but provided enough light to illuminate her balcony and dark room. Sighing, she leaned heavily upon the ornately carved railing, one corner of her mouth twitching upward at some random thought of days long past.
