- Despite the towering buildings and ornamental landscapes, some suburbs of Telarus, such as Ras, suffer from poverty which the local government seems unable to resolve.

- Given Panatha's monarchy, any toeing the line is often quenched with an inexplicable disappearance hence the relatively calm manner of citizens bar the anomalous ruffian. Naturally, crime is in the city and there have been a few low-key armed robberies in the past few years.
[*]Description: The iridescent throne of the Xanha Archipelago, Telarus is quickly identifiable by the semi-unique road systems in the city where wheeled vehicles still operate beneath a busy sky. Skyscrapers launch themselves into the sky, bustling with lights and activity and several buildings in construction.
Several amenities dot the large city, with sports stadiums, arenas and large cinemas covering the central areas of the city. The great waterway, the River Tel snakes through the city centre, and it is not uncommon to see yachts floating down the river.

Behind Canthar, the city holds the largest spaceport on Panatha where many species cross the border and enter the planet daily.
