Technology - Consumable Template

I've done my fair share of factory subs that could considered consumables (drugs, honey, etc.). And one thing I've noticed is that while the basic tech template works for a basic guideline, you have to contort it a bit to make it work. Things such as drugs, food, stimulants, alcohol, etc could benefit from a template that pertains only to them. Things that could be included:

• Ingredients (instead of just materials)
• Effects and Duration of effects
• How it's consumed (injection, orally, inhalation, etc).
• Regulated or considered illegal (black market oriented)
• Basic process of development
• Potential allergies/side effects
• Etc.

Just a thought.

Could you provide a fleshed out template that utilizes our current format? So say you tweak the basic template to fill in and edit how you'd imagine this consumable templates to be.

Affiliation: (Example: The E-11 Blaster Rifle was produced for the Galactic Empire and used almost exclusively by Imperial Stormtroopers. Do not put the company unless the product is only for your company's use. Common choices include 'Open market' or the name of a specific faction.)

Modularity: (Can components of this submission be swapped out for other components? Is it especially easy to modify? For most submissions, put 'No'.)

Production: (The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (Only A Handful of Characters), Limited (Only A Select Group Of NPCs/PCs), Minor (Any Character, Only Select Groups Of NPCs), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.))

Material: (What is it made out of? Certain materials are more resistant, or vulnerable, to certain weapons. Example: 'Durasteel, blaster components.')


Strengths: (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 strength of this submission.)
Weaknesses: (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 weaknesses of this submission.)


Description: (Include some strengths and weaknesses here. Describe some of the history behind the submission. Give us some idea of how it might perform its function, what it excels against and what some limitations of it are. This is where you talk about your idea, flesh it out over at least a good-sized paragraph, and address some of the ways it might be used or abused.
