OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a new Sithspawn with the intent of having it serve as a guardian for a stronghold on Eol Sha under the governance of [member="Venthis Zambrano"].
  • Image Credit: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nEEZr(Magma Titan by Ryan Von Dongen.)
  • Canon: N/A.
  • Links: N/A.
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Tavesauakû (Sith for "The Fire Watcher").
  • Designation: Semi-Sentient.
  • Homeworld: Eol Sha.
  • Language: N/A. Only capable of communicating in grunts, growls and roars.
  • Average Lifespan: 20 Glalactic Standard Years.
  • Estimated Population: Unique.
  • Description: Tall and vicious, a reptilian looking formation of rock and fire with life somehow breathed into it.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: N/A. Has no need to breathe.
  • Average height of adults: 3.50m.
  • Average length of adults: N/A.
  • Skin color: A deep, 'scorched-rock' brown.
  • Hair color: N/A.
  • Distinctions: The Tavesauakû is distinct from many other creatures doe to it's rocky skin as well as the fact that flames can be seen through gaps in the armour skin (like the 12, eye-like holes on its head). Also distinctive are the 6 horn-like protrusions on its head and the spines running down it's back.
  • Races: N/A.
  • Strengths:
Rock Body: Being crafted out of rock grants the Tavesauakû a natural set of armour, causing it to be able to tank hit after hit without much damage. This also means that damage can only be caused to it by something bludgeoning it or wielding an weapon capable of cut or stabbing it. The weight of it body also means that it packs a vicious and heavy hit.
  • Born of Flame: The Tavesauakû feeds upon lava and fire to keep itself going. This also means that heat or flame have no effect upon it.
  • See Through Vibrations: Due to it being blind, the Tavesauakû sees through feeling vibrations through the ground and in surrounding fluid (including air). This means that, despite it being blind, it is difficult to sneak up on or evade the Tavesauakû. With it also capable of sensing the vibrations of the surrounding fluid it can tell where sound may be coming from, even though it is deaf.
  • Lava Breath: With it capable, and preferring, to live within a pool of lava, the Tavesauakû naturally 'breathes' in some of that lava. It is more than capable of then 'spiting' that lava back out as an attack.

[*]Weaknesses:
  • Lightside: Due to the Tavesauakû being crafted through Sith Alchemy, it is vulnerable to the Light Side of the Force, with some of the more powerful Light Side abilities being able to quickly destroy it.
  • Slow: Due to the Tavesauakû being a creation of rock and flame, it is by no means speedy. Indeed, it could be easily classed as slower than the average human.
  • Blind and Deaf: Despite it being able the 'see' and 'hear' through vibrations, the Tavesauakû is still, ultimately, deaf. This means that it can be difficult to tell friend from foe.
  • Cold: Due to this Spawn being of fire and rock, the cold will often not be a big problem for it. However, that does not take into extremes. For example, should someone know Cyrokinesis then they are a big threat to the Tavesauakû.
  • Limited Intelligence: While this beast can follow orders well enough, it 'thinks' in a simple and straightforward manner. It charges and attacks. Outsmarting the Tavesauakû is not a hard task.

CULTURE
  • Diet: The Tavesauakû is, essentially, flame and lava. While it does not technically need to eat, consuming these resources keeps it functioning at peak efficiency. They are the equivalent of fuel for the Tavesauakû.
  • Communication: Verbally through grunts, growls and roars. Also, it could understand words communicated through the Force by using 'bonds' created with it, referred to as 'imprinting' by Venthis Zambrano as the process required one to tie their mind to the Spawn so that it could recognise them.
  • Technology level: N/A.
  • Religion/Beliefs: N/A.
  • General behavior: The Tavesauakû does not sleep, but, nor does it hunt. Instead, it simply will lie dormant, waiting until someone who it has not 'imprinted' on approaches. When they do, it will seek to do everything in its power to kill them.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
With the Sith Empire claiming the planet of Eol Sha from the decaying corpse of the Dominion, cleansing it through triggering the eruptions of the many volcano on the planet, it soon came to pass that a stronghold would be built upon the planet, a stronghold under the Siths control. When such a stronghold was created, it was placed under the control of one Venthis Zambrano. Seeking to have a guardian to serve as a line of defense, Venthis reached out through his connections with the Sith Assassins and found Darth Lykos. While more skilled in the art of utilising Alchemy upon the inanimate, the Zabrak was still in Alchemy as a whole, despite never using it in a widespread manner.

Taking use of the recent eruptions and the Dark nature of their triggers, Lykos pulled together rock, lava and the Dark energies still running rampant within them both resources. While the task was by no means easy, for he sought to breathe life into the inanimate through the Force, and the construct fell apart over the course of many attempts, after a week, an imitation of life was created - a Golem bound to its duties. However, this imitation had its drawbacks, for while it possessed a limited amount of sentience through the Dark that held it together, it lacked many other benefits of life - like sight and hearing. As such, a compromise was made, binding the beast to the ground that had spawned it and the air that fueled its flame to grant it the ability to perceive vibrations. However, this, also, had a drawback as it caused the Dark within the Spawn to burn up too quickly. As such, it was reforged so as to be able to 'feed' upon the lava that had birthed it.

A final set of hurdles to overcome was the fact that, with it being blind and deaf, it could not tell friend from foe nor receive orders. As such, Lykos guided Venthis through binding his mind to the Sithspawn's, making it able to detect him so as to know that he was friend as well as enabling Venthis to direct the Spawn with some limited success through sending orders by thought. The method of binding the mind to the Spawn would come to be referred to as 'Imprinting' by Venthis and become a requirement should someone be coming and going from the Stronghold often while also necessitating that any guest be accompanied by someone who's been 'imprinted'.

For the most part I really like this submission.

Plenty of detail in there and it makes sense to have a guardian for the Forge of the Empire, but we are going to need to work a little bit on the strengths and weaknesses before I can stamp it.

Right now the Fire Watcher has the following strengths:

The stone armor makes it very good at tanking damage.
It is immune to magma and fire, actually even feeding off of it (which makes sense, because magma beast)
Tremor-sense allows it to be very aware of its surroundings even though its blind and deaf.
It can breathe magma.

On the flip-side?

It is weak against the Lightside as all creations of the Darkside are.
It is slow.
It is blind and deaf, it can see through the vibrations, but it has a difficult time figuring out friend from foe.

I am going to need you to add two more good weaknesses to this thing. I am aware you have the blind and deaf weakness, but the issue is that this is a very flavor-like weakness with limited ramification in an actual player-encounter.

Tag me when it's done and I will stamp this.

I have added the following two weaknesses. If you need any other weaknesses added, I'll try and come up with something else.
