APPEARANCE:
Tall, green and menacing Tarc isn't the kind of plucky Quarth adventurer you'd see in the Vids. Tarc is well built with strong, wide shoulders. Behind his uniform he has several scars from run ins with pirates and other smugglers as well as a scar across his left eye that has left it blind and replaced with a milky white cybernetic, a ploy to give the illusion he is still blind in that eye.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tarc grew up in the slums of Coronet City. Poor and with little money both of his parents had picked up smuggling, but without anyone to take care of the child at home the Stardivers took Tarc along for the rides. They would eventually be captured by CorSec and put into prison after crossing the wrong Hutt landed them in the can for the rest of their lives. Without a home to really return to Tarc picked up where his parents left off and took on his parents debts on the promise that the Hutt would pull the right strings to have them released if he worked off his parents' debts. Young and naive the young Quarth ran smuggling jobs and learned to fly much earlier than a child should ever have to. He would become a well known name in the underground by his teens as one of the best smugglers in the Core. However his luck would run out when he would cross paths with a younger Director Basali , ending his crime and smuggling spree. He was offered a deal however. Basali saw the potential in the young man and made him the offer of a life time. Join CorSec and graduate from the academy to join CorSec as a pilot and all would be forgiven. He would even look into lessening his parents' sentences. Or prison for life, just like his parents. It wasn't much of a choice and so Tarc joined CorSec, vanishing from the smuggling world entirely.
He would go on to become an extremely competent pilot and eventually investigator for CorSec. After Basali became Director of CorSec he promoted Tarc to Special Investigator and placed him with a group of peers that would operate outside of the normal chain of command in order to find and stop whatever smuggling shipments the One Sith Remnants were getting. Officially the group dubbed "The Anti-Smuggling Initiative", they were all given highly customized ships to blend in with the smuggler crowds and would go undercover indefinitely in an attempt to take down the One Sith remnants' supply rings as well as lower smuggling throughout the Corellia Sector.
Their position would often lead into conflicts with CorSec proper and would cause Basali to to lose some favor in CorSec, however their effectiveness in bringing down the smuggling rate of the highest obscenities like Sith Artifacts and sentient trafficking in the Corelia Sector meant they were paying for themselves. Tarc would go on to bust several sentient traffic rings as well as several One Sith smuggling rings, eventually even taking down the Hutt that put his parents in prison. Now he continues to operate within CorSec but works very closely with the Galactic Alliances' own intelligence groups.
