  • Permissions: NA
  • Links: NA
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Tarar Warband
  • Affiliation: Brotherhood of the Maw
  • Classification: Shock Troops, Assault Infantry
  • Description: Wearing dirty leather and heavy weather coats, or ill-maintained armors and rusty gear parts from scavenged equipment, the marauders consisting the Tarar Warbands serve as the vanguard troops of the Brotherhood, meant to lay deadly blows to enemy formations. Equipped with heavy weapons and berserk fury, these troops are able to operate under any environment.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Large
  • Unit Availability: Uncommon
  • Unit Experience: Veteran
  • Equipment:
    • Weapons:
      • Plasma Hand Cannons
      • Blaster Rifles
      • Lightning Cannons
      • Electroblades
      • Frag Grenades

      • Leather Coats
      • Partial Durasteel Armor Parts (Oftentimes collection of several different sets patched into one)
      • Life-Support-Mounted Helmets
  • Combat Function: Shock Troops, Assault Infantry
Strengths:
  • Berserkers. The Tarar Marauders are a blending of alien and human alike, bound by bloodoaths to the greater cause of the Great Maw. When in battle, these techno-barbarians grow blood drunk, craving only further carnage brought to their foes.
  • Heavy Weapons Fighters. The Tarar marauders may be ill-armored but they re heavily armed troops, capable of inflicting heavy damage to the foe.
Weaknesses:
  • Self-Destructive. Although skilled warriors, the Tarar Warbands tend to be too direct when it comes to fighting, which usually makes them susceptible in causing friendly fire as well as falling victims of enemy ambushes and traps.
  • Meat-Grinder. The Tarar Warbands consist of zealous marauders who have gained their equipment from looting and scavenging. This causes many warriors within the warband to be ill-equipped when it comes to armor, which makes the overall unit rather easy to hit.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Rallied from the corners of the Unknown Regions, these zealots are bloodoathed warriors of the Brotherhood, joining the hordes of the Maw in search of their apotheosis through the fires of battle. Such troops are easy to be found in major battles, charging in against enemy formations in shock attacks, or boarding enemy ships in void warfare. War-crimes and attrocities are almost a guarantee, when it comes to conflict with such troops. Acts of violence and savagery, these barbarian zealots view as rites to their Heathen Gods.
