The Taozin Beskar'gam is the name bestowed upon the latest suit of Mandalorian Armor constructed for Isley Verd. It was crafted by Teres Verd, Isley's aunt, who is the exceptional smith responsible for resizing the original incarnation of his armor, in addition to reforging it into its second form. This time, much to her annoyance, Isley came before her requesting a replacement for the armor that was decimated at the hands of @[member="Ket Van Derveld"] during their duel on Tatooine; compliments of the ability Shatterpoint. In order to prevent this turn of events from occurring again, however, the Mandalorian first commissioned the assistance of a powerful Alchemist by the name @[member="Valik"], who crafted for him Taozin Amulets for usage in the construction of his new armor.
The end result was a beskar'gam that was reminiscent of his former armor in terms of appearance. However, it's most striking difference is the fact that, thanks to the incorporation of the Taozin amulet, it masks its wearer entirely from detection through the Force. Through this, the sense-based ability, Shatterpoint, could not be utilized to completely decimate this armor and leave Isley feeling vulnerable and completely un-Mandalorian for weeks on end once more. Aside from this element, however, the Taozin Beskar'gam is the epitomization of the word standard, as it features nothing more than what would have been found traditionally upon the armors worn by Boba Fett, Jango Fett, or other Mandalorians throughout Galactic History.
To begin, as is the norm for Mandalorian Armor, the Taozin Beskar'gam is features plates composed entirely out of beskar. These plates, in addition to the armor as a whole, were built around the Taozin amulets as to give the desired effect of masking its wearer from the Force. Beskar, as it is well-known, is a lightsaber resistant material that can also take and occassionally deflect blaster bolts. The Beskar plates are arranged upon a flame-retardant body glove composed of armorweave, which is a comfortable and durable material also known for its resiliance on the field of battle. The plates are arrange as to give maximum coverage about the body without hindering the movement of joints, as is the standard, and even features a raised collar piece.
On another note, as is the norm with Mandalorian Armor, the Taozin Beskar'gam is aesthetically decorated to suit the preferences of its wearer. Its beskar plating has been painted red, signifying Isley's desire to honor his father figure: "Mandalore the Rebuilder". The plates also feature black outlining to signify Isley's desire to exact what he identifies as "justice" upon the enemies of his people and any who would be foolish enough to raise a hand against those under his protection. The left shoulder plate of the armor features a Mythosaur Skull painted in crimson, denoting Isley's Mandalorian lineage, his loyalty to the Manda'lor, and his rank as a Rally Master. The right shoulder plate features the Symbol of Clan Verd, which represents the values of "Service and Leadership".
In terms of features, the remainder of Isley's armor is relatively standard; save for the incorporation of crushgaunts. The helmet, composed of beskar and dark, tinted glasteel, contains capabilities that are the norm for any Mandalorian. These consist of, primarily, a macrobinocular viewplate that offers a wide variety of vision modes; most notably infrared. A built-in battle computer that registers verbal commands, thereby allowing Isley to control his weapons systems, jet pack, personal vessel, and War Droid by voice. A reserve tank of oxygen is situated on the rear of the armor, underneath the JT-12 Jetpack, that grants Isley a backup of two hours of oxygen. This is often utilized alongside the helmet's oxygen filtration system. A pineal eye sensor coupled with an internal overlay display allows Isley to see within a 360-degree radius. The helmet also features a broadband antenna, which acts as the link to the aforementioned vessel and war droid connectivity; and is also coupled with a rangefinder that can track multiple targets. The helmet also features an encrypted, internal comlink, a sophisticated HUD, an audio/visual recorder in addition to audio receptors with sound amplification capabilities, motion sensors, and a photochromatic visor that adjusts to various levels of light. All of these helmet features, with the exception of the photochromatic visor, are standard upon any Mandalorian helmet.
The armor itself features a CZ-830 Templar Utility Belt in addition to a cloak, composed of the same flame-retardant armorweave that is optionally worn. It also features a small groove upon the JT-12 Jetpack which is specifically incorporated to allow the placement of Isley's beskad. Through this, he can simply reach back and unsheathe it without fear of its form interfering with the propulsion of his jetpack. The gauntlets are, as aforementioned, crushgaunts with each featuring mounted weaponry. The right gauntlet features a MM9 Wrist Rocket Launcher whilst the left gauntlet features a ZX Miniature Flame Projector and a Dur-24 Wrist Laser. All in all, the Taozin Beskar'gam differs minimally from any standard suit of Mandalorian Armor, such as those worn by Jango and Boba Fett. The sum of its differences are the aesthetics, the incorporation of a Taozin Amulet, the incorporation of Crushgaunts, the CZ-830 Templar Utility Belt over a leather utility belt, and its armorweave cloak.
