SPECIAL FEATURES
  • High Resistance against Energy Weapons
  • High Resistance against Melee Weapons
  • Moderate Resistance against Lightsabers
  • Moderate Resistance against Slugthrowers

Strengths:

  • Fantastic Resistances - The uniform was created out of a mixture of phrik and armorweave, providing the wearer with excellent protection against melee weapons, blasters, and even lightsabers; instead of being pierced by a blaster or cleaved by a lightsaber, the strike is absorbed as kinetic energy which is spread out evenly across the surface of the fabric by shockpadding integrated into it.
  • Lightweight - Taking advantage of the defensive properties of phrik and armorweave, as well as their light weight; the uniform maintains a lower weight than other armor, allowing the wearer to not suffer from fatigue by donning the outfit for too long, offering a great degree of movement and flexibility.
  • Comfortable and Professional - Even with strong alloys and shock padding integrated into the fabric of the uniform, it is actually quite comfortable, being breathable like standard clothing. The uniform itself is also very professional looking, a must for the leader of a galactic power.
Weaknesses:
  • Vulnerable to Kinetic Overload - If something with enough kinetic energy (i.e. Multiple strikes from a heavy blaster/lightsaber) hit the uniform, even with the dispersal, the force would actually overload and leak through the shock padding, causing moderate to severe trauma to the wearer, and even death with the right weaponry.
  • No Head or Hand Protection - Someone following the doctrine of 'center mass' would find their efforts sullied by the high protection of the uniform, though someone going for the wearer's hands or if a sniper is determined to get a headshot; nothing can possibly stop them from doing so.
DESCRIPTION

After the disastrous peace summit on Monastery, as well as the attempted assassination of his then-Admiral, Imperial Grand Moff Tanomas Graf decided to remake his signature military uniform, keeping the aesthetics while completely revamping the composition of it. Ditching regular cloth and other common materials, Imperial engineers found a way to create a cloth-like fabric combining both phrik and armorweave to offer maximum protection while retaining comfort and movement.

Once the base uniform was completed, shockpadding was integrated into the stitching so that instead of the phrik-armorweave preventing a lightsaber from cleaving through but letting kinetic energy kill the wearing, it nullifies the kinetic energy being transferred from impacts, dispersing the energy across the body to minimize trauma to a specific area and thus saving the wearer's life in the process.

Complimenting this tremendously is the lightweight properties of the alloy, giving the Grand Moff the movement and comfort that would be standard in a regular, non-protective cloth uniform; The outfit itself is still surprisingly professional looking, not having an ugly pattern that is commonplace in other protective suits such as matrix armor.

Unfortunately, the protection is only on the suit, leaving the Moff's ungloved hands and unprotected head vulnerable to conventional attacks that would otherwise not work on the uniform itself. The shockpadding is not as strong as the alloys as well, meaning that with enough kinetic energy transfer, they could overload and possibly kill the man wearing the uniform.
