The Past
Tannara was born into a family of healers on Kinoss, one of the few non-Chiss families on the planet, and she was trained from quite a young age. She was instructed in precise medical techniques and care, and practiced for a number of years before going into the field. She aided where she was needed-- a mix of soldiers, laymen, and even a few government officials, knowing her family's reputation. She was also trained in sensing injuries in the Force, due to her innate vision within the Force as a Miralukan. However, she was not trained any further. Her family had a strong dislike for Jedi, Sith, and those who believed that the Force made them a "higher class" than others, and so they only taught her what they believed she needed to know.
However, Tannara wanted to know more. She was happy to heal people, and found it gave her a good purpose, as well as a way to meet a large swath of new people. However, Kinoss only exposed her to so much. She'd only taken care of Miralukans and Chiss-- and from her reading, she knew there were hundreds of other species out there that she could discover. So over time, Tannara planned. She started stowing away gear and credits, preparing for her escape. She knew the timing would have to line up to one particular thing-- the Eclipse. The planetary Eclipses were massive events, and she knew she'd be able to sneak off-world with as little notice as possible. And so, donning her armor, she commandeered a small ship, piloted by a droid, and flew off... wherever.The Present
With nothing but her little ship, armor, and pilot droid, Tannara, now going just by Kir, dedicated herself to exploring teh galaxy. She wanted to expand her knowledge of healing, other species, and the one thing that had been truly kept from her-- the Force. Without any idea of where to start, however, she often finds herself wandering aimlessly in space between planets, taking odd jobs where she can to survive. She keeps her radar out for contact, always hoping for something to pop up, but never knows truly where she'll find herself...

Positive:Curious: There's always something new for Kir to know, and she's always eager to. Her 'eyes' are always peeled, and her ears are always open, when it comes to new information. And if it's information she's interested in, it's likely she'll go out of her way to seek it out. Studious: Kir has never been afraid of taking time to learn something. On the contrary, she quite enjoys it. She finds satisfaction in learning new things, and is willing to do what it takes to learn. Independent: Although Kir grew up under the watchful eye of her family, she also quickly learned how to depend upon herself and herself alone. This became even more apparent when she left on her own, trying to truly make her own way in the world.
Negative:Poor social skills: Having grown up only around straightforward Chiss and distant Miralukans, Kir's social skills are exclusively limited to being quiet, efficient, and having a moderately good bedside manner. Due to this, she's awful at small talk, and can just about handle conversation... as needed. Poor combat skills: As a Miralukan, Kir can only truly "see" through the Force. She carries a blaster pistol on her at all times for protection, but it's more to look like she can handle herself than actually being able to. She's a poor shot, and doesn't have any real hand-to-hand combat skills, so her only real hopes in combat are to run and hide. Limited vision: Similarly, Kir's only "vision" is through the Force, which limits her. She is able to see sentients and beings fine enough, but everything else takes time to appear to her, and only with serious focus.
