History:
Tamriel is a planet largely untouched by her resident sentients. Many large isolated continents dot the surface, although only one is settled; dubbed Curodyl by most of it's natives.
The primary language of Tamriel is Imperial, the small world's equivalent to galactic basic. Although several hundred other languages exist, such as Saxheel, Nordic, Stevlandic, Red Tongue, and Duun'Meri.
The basic history of this civilization is short, and begins with the uprising of the Tamrielic Empire. This empire was comprised of the epynonymous Imperial race (Imperics), who conquered the nine remaining civilizations scattered across Curodyl. The genocidal campaign against these nine small kingdoms meant that when the dust settled and the Imperials came out on top, that they now made the majority of the planet's population. In fact, the planet's population dropped by a little less than half during the course of the 'Imperial War.' This Empire now rules under her new Emperor, [member="Stephen Septim"], who ensured that the purist ideologies of his ancestors would not return to haunt Tamriel, or her people. He rules fairly and justly as the monarch of the meager population... Until he disappeared one day.
Intent:
I want to create a story about a King, a very important and powerful King, who gets sucked across dimensions into the Star Wars galaxy. He will not be a super powerful God-King, and will have to adjust to this new futuristic world. His Bio isn't finished, and I still haven't created some of the other elements of these people, but it seems like a good idea to start here. They are NOT located in the same galaxy as Star Wars, nor the same dimension for that matter. Eventually I hope that Stephen can open a gateway into this new system, connecting it to the known galaxy.
Strengths:
(Each Race is genetically compatible, meaning that several of these strengths an weaknesses may not effect certain individuals, since some may have traits of two or more races.
+ Saurics can breate water
+ Imperics are uncanny when it comes to money and politics
+ Stevics are tinkerers, and thrive with technology
+ Orkics possess incredible brute strength
+ Reddics are amazing swordsmen and marksmen
+ Dunmics have a strong connection to the Light Side of the Force
+ Altics have a strong connection to the Dark Side of the Force
+ Bosmics are born with heightened senses and reflexes
+ Nordics can withstand very cold temperatures, and make excellent fighters
+ Brittics have a strong connection to the living Force
+ It is possible to combine all of these traits through selective breeding. But such a process could be inhumane, and would also mean the product would possess not only the strengths, but also ALL of the weaknesses of each race.
Weaknesses:
- Saurics are cold-blooded and cannot warm themselves internally
- Orkics are not very intelligent
- When two members of a different race intermingle, the offspring inherits weaknesses as well as strengths from both parents.
- Only Altics, Bosmics, Dunmics, Stevics, and Brittics are force-sensitive
- Brittics are socially inept
- Bosmics are very small compared to other races, and do not make good fighters
- Dunmics cannot use Dark Side Force Powers
- Stevics are oath-bound to not use the technology they make
- Stevics only use primitive melee weapons
- If a force sensitive has a child with a non-sensitive, the child will not be force sensitive
- Nordics have a hard time adjusting to warm temperatures
