While communicating with the Nightsister Spirits of the other world, Senka learned of the Talisman of the Raven -- a ring embued with the power of the Spirit Raven to give the user the ability to transform into a blackbird. The spirits told her of Sister Charal, a member of Mother Talzin's clan that stole away with the last known talisman. They also spoke of Charal's fate, the witch became trapped in raven form when the artifact was destroyed. Indeed using the talisman was not without risks.
With the guidance of the spirits, Senka was able to re-create her own Talisman of the Raven. She crafted it from Spirit Ichor, channeling the green mists and giving them solid form. She chose to craft the ring in the shape of a raven, making it a minimal and aesthetically pleasing design. In addition to the warning from the Nighsister Spirits about getting trapped in the raven form, the user is not able to transform in the presence of force-nullyfing objects or environments.
