STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
(-)Not Particularly Interesting: Talen's a backwater rube from what is widely recognised as the most boring planet in the Galaxy's history. He has no fun stories to tell and barely knows how to make conversation. He sticks to the basics and barely goes beyond that. Don't ask him about his great aunt Ruth; her story is more boring than Corvis Minor.
(-)Swimming: Talen can't swim. Don't take him near water outside a refresher or a rainstorm, because he's in trouble. Like hell there are bodies of water on Corvis Minor. U crazy?
(-)Claustrophobia: Talen cannot handle enclosed spaces. It gives him nightmares and he's generally unconscious from over-stressing.
(+/-)Inquisitive: Talen is naturally inquisitive, given the fact that everything he knows is the most boring stuff ever. He seeks to learn. He wants to learn. Occasionally he wants to learn a little too much and that can be too dangerous, especially when he goes places he isn't meant to be (admittedly, by accident). It does give him a natural affinity for picking new concepts up quickly, however.
(+)The Code: The Jedi Code is Talen's guide. He knows that he has to temper himself to follow it and does his utmost to follow it always. Sure, he slips every now and then, but he's good at stopping, centering himself and working out what he's meant to do. This means a few things:
SHIP: Talen does not own a personal ship; instead, when necessary, he makes use of an Eta-6 Scout model as transport.
BIOGRAPHY: Corvis Minor, also known as the most uninteresting planet in the Galaxy, is home to the Nerius family; the current generation is home to a standard Loving Familial Unit with a mother, father and four children - girl, boy, boy, girl. That first boy is Talen! He has older sister Lara, younger brother Trev and younger sister Elise to pick on and be friends with. Also of note is great aunt Ruth, who collects muja fruit-related paraphernalia. School? Check. Friends? Check. Boring ones, because this is the kind of planet you play kick the can on.
When Talen was fifteen he was identified and shipped off to the Jedi Temple, which took a while; he arrived the day after his sixteenth birthday by Galactic Standard Time and started being a Jedi. Yep. Standard, right?
And you thought it couldn't get any worse. Negative.

- Not enjoying combat; Talen has chosen to study Niman for this reason.
