Taking Stock of the Market [Open]

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Stasya"]

As Stasya drooped into a slide, HK grabbed with his left hand a DUST ball with a mechanically swift flick, in a blink the small grey ball would be sent towards Stasya and the two guards, as she tangled with them it would erupt in a small cloud of grey matter, enveloping the two droid guards, but Stasya as well.

In the confines of the alley and while fighting the HK-copy guards, Stasya would have little chance to dodge the cloud of transmitters, powdery electronics attaching to skin, clothing, and hair.
They would be easy to get rid of with a good scrubbing and a bath, but they would be a threat right now.

As to the Greycloaks,
Their large claws dug into the ground, anchoring them, as she grabbed the incoming thrust, the droid's metal fingers tightened around it, quickly deactivating the saber when she redirected the strike, hitting the armor plate of the other droid with a dull note.

She kicked the other droid and it did not budged, attempting to grab at her leg during the kick to stop her, however, it seemed that she did not had much in mind to stick around for it, and she would be gone from the alley sooner or later.

HK did not spare much time either, as soon as she was making her way out of the alley, so was he running past the pair of his copies, metal plates hitting the ground as he quickly detached his additional armor-plates that covered his already metal body on the move, decreasing his weight for additional speed for the chase,
"Containthisarea,Ihunt"
He commanded in rapid speech, following Anzati's trail

The Greycloaks nodded,
"As you wish, sir,"
And they grabbed their pointed hilts in their off-hands, holstering their pistols.
They pushed a button on the hilts as black graphite shafts shot out from the hilts, forming short, saber-sized Spears of Rae, it was a medium setting of the Spears, they could go longer still.

Either way, with that the two guards at one end crossed the Spears between each other, blocking one way, on the other end the guards pushed the button once more, their Spears shot out with another mechanical scraping sound, adding to the length of the spears, they turned them upside down, using the phrik-tipped weapons as staves.

One guard stayed at the end of the alley as the other stepped forward to wounded Davik and Echani Hakora,
"Who is responsible for the deaths of these men?"
The droid, his faceplate hidden behind armored helmet, asked, motioning to other corpses in the alley,

The unit came closer to Davik, taking a pill of bacta he had on his belt, leaning down the droid cracked the pill, applying the blue-ish substance on Davik's burned wounds, applying those medical protocols HK has picked up during his service for the Jedi,
"Rest, and heal, the wounds burn, but their fire does not last forever, we can clench it."
Reaching to his belt once more, the unit take out a small breather mask, with two blue capsules attached to it, bacta in gas form, pressing the breather mask to Davik's mouth, droid would activate it, letting him breath it in, heal any internal injuries.

As a rule, Dekkan stayed out of trouble, or really out of anyone else's trouble. There was one spot in Old Patch where he made an exception, and that was his diner. Folk entered there and started to have issues, he dealt with it how he saw fit. Out here, this was the droid's territory, and he respected that. That hadn't always been the case, as the first few times he met HK-36 he was not friendly with the droid, but that had changed, especially after the events of the Dark Harvest. While he didn't actively hang around the droid, he was amicable, and pleasant with the designated 36, and his unique personality that he was able to display. During all the commotion in a back alley from the market place, Dekkan had gone about finishing his rounds and collecting a good amount of groceries from the open stands. He had noticed movement, and a great deal of panic coming from various places - but this was Old Patch. A smuggler's stomping ground, and not exactly the most crime-free city on the planet. The Baron had done a good job at keeping things going smooth, but it was still a seedy place to be.

While he wouldn't exactly interfere unless to protect life or limb, hew wasn't above watching just to make sure the general public and police force of the Baron could handle the local color. He'd since set down his bag of groceries and watched from a water canal vantage point. The scene wasn't clear from where he was standing, as the alley blocked visuals to only a select few viewpoints. There were more interested parties - more involved parties at this time, but he wasn't getting into that mess just yet. When HK-36 and his doubles showed up to rectify the situation a smirk slid over his face while he took a casual stance with boots crossed against each other and his leaning position gave way to a very relaxed and amused persona. He had even dipped into his bag and took out a sweetfruit and took a bite while he watched. The droid knew how to make an entrance.

"Oh they're running....racing a droid. Good luck with that." Dekkan said in a carefree manner as the perpetrator attempted to slide out of the iron grip of her would be assailants and make a run for it. He didn't know many without the aide of the Force that could match speed with a tireless machine built to track, hunt, and originally kill. The scene of Dekkan might of looked like he wasn't concerned, but that was exactly why he was watching. He cared just enough to be interested that the entire town wasn't going to go karking mad and start tearing itself apart. Old Patch was never disappointing though. Always something brewing.

Linori purses her lips and stares towards the human. She was someone who preferred to take the easy way around things, and yet here was a fellow who stemmed opposite. He had people to protect, but he knew not who they were, at least not yet. She felt it was a fool’s errand, but he was doing far more than what she could ever dream of. That was the way of things.

The miraluka opens her mouth to respond, but is interrupted by abrupt shouts. Something stirred within her, be it from this force-like connection she had or the urge to spin on her heel and run. She stared as lightsabers were drawn in the distance and people tried to make way and scatter. It all happened so quickly, and as quickly as the chaos had started, it quickly started to die down as a large droid-like figure made his way towards an alley with the guard.

Linori takes one step forward then turns, looking at Veino. “What just happened?”

[member="Linori Pryde"]

Veino spun as the Force warned him of danger nearby, and his lightsaber flew into his hand, yellow blade flaring forth just as he heard blaster shots ring out. Then the law arrived and he relaxed, deactivating the blade and returning it to his pocket. The droids probably had it under control. Not that the perp was heading his way either, which was fortunate. "I can't tell details. It could have been a mugging attempt or any number of things. It seems to be well in hand though."

He was hesitant to get involved when authorities were already involved. He typically only intervened when there were no authorities present, or the ones there were outmatched in some way.
