Corporation Name: Taking Off on a Star Tour

Headquarters: Ringo Vinda

Locations: Hosnian Prime (Central region headquarters), Lipsec (Southern region headquarters)

Operations: Written media (HoloNet and hardcopy), entertainment

Rationale: Star Tours created an in-flight magazine for use onboard Star Tours flights. Now the administration of Star Tours started selling copies of Taking Off on a Star Tour away from Star Tours flights.

Tier: 2

Description: Taking Off on a Star Tour was originally created as a weekly in-flight magazine for use onboard Star Tours flights. Due to the extent of Star Tours destinations, three editions exist, named after the regional office producing the edition, with most of the content and advertising common to all three. In order to account for the regional variations, some leeway is given into segments of the content, called discretionary content. Regular fixtures include duty-free items, hot destinations, travel advisories, new tour packages, as well as technical commentaries on starship operation and Star Tours' fleet. Taking Off on a Star Tour usually mostly refrains from making editorial columns about political content unless travel advisories are issued in the aftermath of political decisions or warfare.

The discretionary content of the southern edition of Taking Off on a Star Tour tends to focus on the culture and entertainment aspect of the First Order, which is understandable due to the southern edition being produced out of Lipsec, which is in First Order space. Plus the First Order routinely orders significant advertising space in Taking Off on a Star Tour regardless of edition, but other factions, most notoriously the Republic and the Silver Sanctum, also order advertising space in it. On average 10 full-pages worth of factional advertisements are featured on each edition of Taking Off on a Star Tour, leading to accusations that Star Tours may be a battlefield for propaganda.
