Taking a short break...

Akodya Mune

The shuttle Khan had bee traveling in had been put under lockdown. A sigh of relief escaped the padawan's lips as she sped to the location.

Smart senator.

With her heart pumping a mile a minute, Akodya tried to see through her worries and focus and getting her friend out of whatever situation he was in alive. How could Khan have been so careless? When will he understand not all people around here are genuine? The Jedi padawan skillfully navigated her way through traffic and chaos, inching bit by bit to the shuttle that had been possibly hijacked.

Just when Akodya had reached the shuttle she could see a small shit hovering near the airlock. Stang. Probably bounty hunters. She thought to herself, before slamming on the breaks and struggling with the last of her enviro suit. Once she heard the small click to confirm she was safe to exit, she popped the small piloting hood and jumped into the roof of the stable shuttle. Her feet slammed onto the metal as she run toward the airlock, activating her emerald lightsaber on the way. The glowing red of melting metal was present around the airlock, and was spreading at alarming speed.

Oh no, there were not getting away.

With a great swing Akodya stabbed into the airlock's door, the lightsaber heating the metal into a burning liquid goo.

Davik Tren

The Friendly Fiend
Davik looked up grimly to see the metal above one of the passenger booths heat up and begin to crack. Before the vaccum opened in the cabin, Davik through on the small air mask that he always kept just in case of such breaches on his own ship and looked to Kiber, urging him to hurry with the cuts, which were very nearly complete and the airlock was beginning to slide off in a heap of durasteel. With the airlock now open Davik took his blaster and fired up into the opening hole in the cabin, up towards the young jedi that endeavoured to ruin their plans. He had gone too far to give up now and lose this fortune. He made sure that Kiber was escorting the senator aboard the Sunrider before stepping down the ladder himself, hoping that the Jedi would not find the airlock quick enough to cause much fuss.

"Go! Go! GO!!!"

Kiber carried the senator aboard and put him down in the cargo hold. Searching him Kiber finds a communicator which he stomps on. He then locks the door and starts to shut the blast doors. Detonator in hand he now waits to get out of explosion range.

Akodya stumbled back when the airlock was popped open and one of the trouble makers decided it was a smart idea to shoot at a Jedi. The padawan defected the bombardment with ease, twisting and turning her blade to sent the blaster fire right back at the man who sent it. The Jedi ran toward the airlock as fast she could while the shots ricocheted off her saber. Soon enough another figure emerged, pulling the senator of Shili, Khaun, out and roughly moving him into the ship.

"Senator!" She yelled, one hand reaching out to manipulate the force and pull him towards her, but it was too late. The togruta was now trapped inside. The opening had swung shut. Cursing under her breath she charged at the ship anyway, leaping into the air and driving her blade next to the opening, hoping to mess up the ship a bit so it couldn't go far. She clung to her hilt with all her strength, a large slice emerging from the metal like a claw mark.

Davik Tren

The Friendly Fiend
Davik tumbled down the hallway of his ship and then looked back to the airlock as a small red mark began to form on the metal of his own ship. He quickly ran over to the small console next to the door and closed the mediumly bulked blast doors to make a nice sealed doorway aboard the now damaged airlock of the Sunrider. While the girl did not cause much of a mark on the ship itself, her intense strength and determination left a large gash on the side of the YT-1760, though this could be repaired. The amount of relief that came with the disconnecting of his ship filled Davik with pride at his now valuable treasure. Although they were not out of the woods yet, and he ran to the cockpit to begin the jump to hyperspace. He had no intention of waiting around for any republic authorities and he set the new course for the planet... Corellia.

"Strap yourself in. Blow it..."

Hearing Davik's words Kiber set off the fire works. The ship shook with a grin on Kiber's face. Peering out of a nearby window he could see that most of the side of the transport was destroyed which is now sucking everything out into space. The matter of the jedi was unknown, but their traces were destroyed along with all of their witnesses.

Akodya yelled out in anguish as her saber slipped through the metal, the ship starting to move extremely fast, pulling the girl along like trash caught on a speeder. The heat from the melting gash radiated onto her form, but the burning feeling was later intensified by a an exposition, spewing chunks of debris in all directions. The Jedi's eyes widened at the sight of the shuttle, her own vessel being blown back from the sheer force of it. Her heart broke at the sight of the destruction. With one arm still gripping to her hilt for dear life, her hands fumbled for her comlink.

"Senator Ruu, This is Padawan Mune, Senator! answer me please. It's Akodya." She yelled into it, her voice shaking from the psychical strain. "For kriffings sake, KHAN! CAN YOU HERE ME?! KHAN!" She cried, only to realize the channel had lost connection. Cursing under her breath again, the blade broke from the ship suddenly, sending the young woman hurling towards the broken mangled mess that used to be the shuttle.

Khantor Ruu

Senator of Shili
Khantor's heart plummeted as he felt the ships thrusters kick in and watched through the cargo hold's port hole as the shuttle exploded sending the innocent passengers into the cold vacuum of space. Guilt suddenly hit the Senator square in the face, their deaths are my doing! If only I'd been more prepared, I'm so naive. Akodya had every right to call me a self-deluded fool living in some make-believe fantasy world. Suddenly remembering his friend he began to frantically scan the area where the shuttle had once been searching for any sign of his Jedi friend. Relief waved over him as he caught sight of the emerald lightsaber that could only be Akodya. He watched helplessly as she drifted further away into space. Placing his hand over the transparisteel, he waved to her in the hope that his friend might catch a glimpse of what might be his final farewell.

He slumped against the wall, tears beginning to well up in his eyes. His red skin darkened as the salty liquid passed over his face. He would never see any of them again, he had failed everyone, Akodya and his mentor the late Senator Rant. Anger began to swell up within him, standing up he began beating the cargo hold hatch, shouting with such rage at his kidnappers, "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO AND KILL ALL THOSE INNOCENT PEOPLE, YOU KRIFFING SLEMOS? THEY WOULD HAVE DONE NOTHING TO STOP YOU!" His tears were now streaming down from his sweltering eyes. He began to sob as he pounded away at the hatch, eventually collapsing at the foot of the entrance letting his pain be heard. He curled up in a ball, thinking about his friends, would he ever see them again? Finally after many a tear, he fell asleep from the exhaustion of the horrific ordeal.

Davik Tren

The Friendly Fiend
Davik looked back down the hallway and held onto the side of the corridor as the transport behind them exploded out into the vast emptiness of space. It was time to leave and he had to do this before the Coruscanti authorities could get on the scene of the accident. He punched the new coordinates into the ship's console and selected a planet that Kiber had a small base on which would be suitable for holding the senator...Corellia. When Kiber finally came to the cockpit and gave the thumbs up, Davik immediately punched the hyperdrive, and just like that, they were gone, into the vast galaxy, perhaps never to be seen again.
