Matsu was looking at him as she motioned to the area outside, several graviton disruptions and pulses of radiation as she spoke. "It is a section of space that is bright and at the end of it is a world, going at it from the void is a dangerous prospect since you might not be able to see blackholes." She kept the ship going forward while she was moving and adjusting the direction for the ship. Then pressing more with the force to get a better ideas of things. THe planet was in view for them and Matsu was leading the way down towards it from atmosphere "Haven't you been out to explore the galaxy?"

"Wait, blackholes?" The young man would inquire, raising an eyebrow. What was she going on about? "We're not going to see them on the way there, are we?" Josh would ask. It was a fair question, after all. If they were going to be dealing with that, then they should be prepared. To her question, he would nod, noting that they'd arrived at the planet and were dropping down. Looks like they wouldn't be dealing with black holes after all.

"I have been. I mean, I've had tons of time to after the Order kicked me to the curb" Josh would remark with a chuckle in response. "I don't think I've been around here before though. No real reason why, I just haven't"

Looks like he'd be exploring this part now.

"They are always a risk and you should. There are many things on worlds in the galaxy that have been buried deep and you'd be surprised what you can find." She set the ship down on the planet while moving about now. Crystal covered sand and grey rock everywhere before they were heading towards the ramp. Her equipment pack being brought out and made ready for her while she was moving towards the ramp. "The well if going to be dangerous when the suns are up but being on the nightside we'll be able to make it into the ruins nearby."

"If there was no risk, it wouldn't be any fun" Joshua would joke, with a small chuckle escaping his lips. He moved a strand of golden blonde hair daintily from his left eye, gently with a finger to keep it from obstructing his vision as the ship would set down on the planet. "Of course, no matter how much you explore, there's always more. But that's the fun of it. You can explore as much as you want. There's never a limit. There's always new things to see and do... That's just one of the marvels of this galaxy" The Jedi Master would respond calmly, looking out the window at the planet they were touching down on. He would stand up and grab his equipment, following his former Master down the ramp.

"Gotcha" He said to her briefing. "Anything else?"

SHe looked at him and shook her head, leading the way towards the ruins that were protruding from the surface of the world. A large central tower that Matsu was displaying on her holoprojector for her palm. She displayed the remains searching for an entrance while the massive old ship was still there. "They really did build these to last." She said it but she was looking as they arrived at the section of the tower that was left over. A way to overlook their crusades and Matsu was looking over some of the viewport as she brought her saber out and with a snap hiss the white blade slid in. The ancient hilt gleaming with age while she felt a warmer sensation in her hand carving a hole they could slip through into an observation deck leading into deeper sections of the ship.

Once they reached the ruins, his demeanor changed. That more relaxed, playful look ceased as he seemed to acknowledge that it was time to get down to business. The Jedi Master would peer over Matsu's shoulder - which to be honest with their height difference really wasn't a difficult task to undertake - in order to get a good look at the hologram that she was holding up with her palm. One eye was focused on their surroundings, the other curiously on the hologram, seeming to ponder the significance of it. It seemed to be a holographic representation of the things around him, and he left that to her while he looked at the more important things - namely what was around them.

"They really do seem to be" Joshua would remark calmly as Matsu mentioned the integrity of the structures in their surroundings. Joshua would watch as his old Master would activate her lightsaber and start to carve a hole, curiously awaiting what lay on the other side.

Matsu moved through into the deck as she looked over the ship. The scent of old death in the ship came to her while she was looking over it and motioned for him to come in. She touched the floor while going over to a console and trying to get it started. Her tacpad hooking up and providing enough power for them to get a few more logs from the ship. "It is a Pius Dea ship, lost over ten thousand years ago when the Order of the terrible gaze and the chancellor were defeated by disabling their computers and having all the ships randomly jump. Then their hyperspace engines were sabotaged and..." She trailed off leaving the sight of what was there. "This." Matsu brought up more while she smiled like a kid in a candy store finding some more of the logs and bringing out another power cell to get the information on the ship itself. "If I go by this there is enough power left to get the lights on and life support to recycle what is inside. This is a tomb so be careful."

The Jedi Master would follow Matsu patiently through the ship, his eyes scanning every little thing around them for the distinct possibility of dealing with threats. He would not - could not - allow them to be caught unawares. His arms folded as he leaned against the nearby wall while his former Master worked, paying attention to every nook and cranny, crevice, and detail around.

"I see..." He trailed off when Matsu would explain the origins of the ship... Interesting. Dea... Quite old. Though her next discovery brought about his interest as he stood up straight and walked over. "Huh. It'd be nice to recycle something from this wreck. You'd think after so much time though..." He trailed off. "... That perhaps, by now, scavengers would have already claimed anything of value, or anything worth study?" The Master would ask. "It's not as though we are the only ones in this galaxy capable of finding them, after all...."

Matsu shrugged while she was loading the information to her wrist datapad. "Don't know, these ships are ancient and were lost.... plus this is an area outside the galaxy that no one would normally look for something. It could be empty or it could be filled to the brim we'll never know just standing around here, need to open it up and see for ourselves." She held a small grin on her face when the transfer was done and she was walking looking over some of the rooms with a smile on her face. They were heading down lower into the sentions of the ships. "We'll see about things, first place to check should be the captains quarters for pass cards."

"Fair enough" Joshua would remark toward her answer with a casual shrug. "Still, even the smallest nooks and crannies can be found by the most intelligent of minds... And they sure as hell have had a lot of time to do so" He would add. "Eventually, someone is inclined to look where someone else might not... Such as yourself, no? It's doubtful that there's nobody that would share your mindset for this spot. But it's still good that we give it a shot" He would add, following behind her once the transfer was finished.

"Bah, I hate searching for small objects" He remarked with a chuckle. "Do we have a force power or something called Sense Small Objects? That would really help me with finding my keys next time I lose them" The Jedi would joke.

"I am certain I am not the only one who would look here but just like the tombs on Korriban and other worlds that are always being rediscovered... Usually if someone came back there would or should be a record." She was moving and his comment about sensing small objects was well... "THere is actually only it involves enhancing the object with the force first and then you will always be able to find it." She kept moving and following the map of the ship she had downloaded the jedi was walking the hallways and as they went the lights activated following them and it felt more eerie then scary like they were in a tomb and it kept her attention as she found the cabin she was looking for with her hands gripping the door as she pried it open and the smell of old death came to her. The body now that it was exposed to the air turning quickly to dust with its seal broken. She was letting her attention go to the captains desk and sliding his journal into the satchel she had while rooting around and opening with her fingers against the safe the door. Her eyes focusing on the electronics while she was manipulating them to open without the combination. The safe popped and inside were a pistol and passcards that she took before she was moving to look around the rest of the room.

"..... Touche" The Jedi Master would remark in response, she was right after all. Even now, people were finding things on Korriban... It was rather... Quaint, to be honest. He figured that by now, everything had been found, but whether they be excavators, a brave Jedi, or a Sith.. They still seemed to find things in Korriban ruins. Matsu was correct in that regard. So he shrugged. A casual shrug. There was no use arguing it, and this could prove to be a useful find after all. Or at least, a fascinating, educational one. A Jedi never stops learning, after all. That was a lesson he had learned long ago.

"But if you can't find the object, then how can you enhance it with the Force?" The Jedi Master would inquire when she brought up the power that he'd jokingly refer to. "If you can sense it with the Force, there's no need to highlight it since you've already found it, correct? Or is there a step, a measure in this, that I missed?" He would ask as they wandered the hallways while Matsu investigated. This certainly seemed like an old ship... He wondered... What secrets would they find in it's annals? Well, it didn't take them long to find out. Opening a door led them to the smell of death. It's source? A body.

"Eesh, I wonder how long he's been hanging out here?" Joshua would remark, raising an eyebrow at the spooky skeleton. "By the looks of him, he probably had a few.... Skeletons in his closet before he died. Dying with regrets is one of the worst things, you know?" He would joke. [member="Tallia Farn"] would have groaned if she were here hearing that. And just like that, the air made it turn to dust. The Jedi would tilt his head, a little creeped out, but unaffected otherwise. "Huh, just like Aleidis Ijet if she were exposed to a particularly hefty gust of air. Poor girl" He added, wondering just where both Farn and Ijet had been as of late. He'd lost contact with the both of them quite some time ago.

Joshua would peek over Matsu's shoulder - not that it was a very difficult thing to do considering their height difference - while she tried to get into the safe. A brow raised in interest at the keycard and pistol inside.

"No you are right, you'd have no real need to enhance it to find it if you had it in your hands. Really it is a matter of preference, I like my room on Cazador because it is deep underground and carved into the stone. Makes finding things easier. It sticks out against the grey." She said it more as a joke while she was letting her hands go over the things there and she spoke. "Aleidis is stronger then she let on, ghostlings can be resilient." She kept looking though whiel her hand roamed over and she spoke. "loks like a log, they went to Cularin before and picked up things from the old academy there and some thing from the old jedi temple. Robes and gear then sealed it in the vault. Jedi robes can be valuable and hold power."

"Hah! Two Jedi Masters, one a beautiful woman, horrible puns and force jokes! It only compliments the spooky old ruins of a ship we're exploring, ah; if only this mission could be reported in full, Coci would have a ball!" The Jedi would joke right back. Joking flirts toward Matsu? By the Force, Mr. DragonsFlame, you have certainly changed in the last year.

When Matsu made her remark about Aleidis, the golden haired Jedi Master couldn't help but laugh. "Oh trust me, I know" Joshua would respond, shooting Matsu a playful, teasing grin. He'd found that out before too long. It'd been a common theme since they'd come here, though... His confidence. He was no longer the quiet, curious Padawan that Matsu had taken in when Master Toran had left him. He was grown, a Master... Wise beyond his years, with a confidence that some would have never seen coming from him. But beneath all the jokes lied a serious man, determined and committed to his mission. His time as Grandmaster hadn't gone to waste, while he was no longer stoic and quiet all the time, his ability to be patient and survey the situation had increased dramatically from the experience. Why wouldn't it, when you dealt with people whining and complaining all day long?

Finally, his attention returned to the mission. "A log?" The Jedi would inquire, peering over her shoulder. At 6'3, that wasn't hard, after all. "Hmm..." He began as she would explain the process behind the idea... "Is there anything else that we may find hiding in here? Is there anywhere we haven't checked? Any places we haven't explored on the ship? Any containers we haven't checked?" The Jedi would question... It seemed that the more things changed, the more they stayed the same. He was still full of questions.

Matsu raised an eyebrow and rose up while she was walking. "THere is always another place to search in a ship like this but the trick is." She was tapping the wall more while bringing out some water. SLowly Matsu found a bowl and set it on a table with her hand over it while she was touching the wall and focused on the force. "To know how to use the force to find it." She slowly pushed and the water froze over becoming a sheet of ice reflecting the light and showing different images within the ship while she searched. "Ancient jedi could use the force to view from the surface of ice in caves an entire planets population. It is a skill that not many still try and learn since it isn't flashy and ones like Coci while talented are very limited in their range when it comes to understanding the exotic and useful abilities." Slowly though she was still being the teacher while watching the images from the ship and she found it looking near the reactors the massive vault and the stone slab in front of it. "Smart they used one of the gree tables as a keypad." She was laughing. "Took me four teams of researchers and two years to learn how those work. If there is something there it is likely still there within the vaults of the ship."

Huh, no sold the jokes and the flirtations? Perhaps she just wasn't the type, he thought. Alas, it was back to business as usual for him. He nodded in reply to her words. "The trick is....?" He began as he watched Matsu do her little trick. He raised an eyebrow, but smirked a bit when it worked well. "Do you use that trick for everything?" The Jedi would snark as he watched curiously. "I'm going to have to learn to use that. It could come in handy" He remarked with a smirk.

"Well, if there's likely things left in the vaults, we shouldn't dilly dally, should we?"

"Yes we should and it is not easy to learn, you'll need to learn how to feel a world. That way you can know where to look when something happens that can draw your attention." She was moving now and using the pathways in the ship while her eyes glazed blue. Low light vision and quiet movements like only a jedi could before she was standing in front of the large stone table and looking it over. Slowly Matsu touched one of the larger stones on the rim as sounds played throughout the device. "These consoles are great at locking things away. You have to know how to." She was working with the stones as they slowly rose up and some were pushed down with small clicks as they locked in place. Matsu was working with the pieces of the table until some were raised up and she pulled another stone. "How much do you know about working with control crystals?"

"Feel a world in order to know where to look.... Interesting" The Jedi Master would observe quietly, closing his eyes, just relaxing himself... Reaching out through the Force toward his surroundings. He could sense each little crease of the walls... The dusty, cracked floor tiles of the ship, the controls that had been broken for so many years. How old was this ship? It could be thousands, and thousands of years old... And they would never know. But what fascinated him was the possibility of relics from that olden time still possibly being here, now, of all times... And that they could possibly discover it. That knowledge... That experience... The possibilities excited him.

He opened his eyes just as Matsu asked her question. To it, he shook his head. "Rather little, I'm afraid. I've had little experience in the field, so I wouldn't know how to use them too much" He would admit sheepishly, scratching his head.

"Nobody knows how, well most don't. Many of the jedi never look to the past for secrets and lies..." She looked at him. "And you should believe all of them especially the lies." She kept working on the stones and testing the sounds while it went getting her attention to keep going while the vault was within her reach. She brought up the holoimager on her palm while hooking it into the control crystals. "They were used much like holocrons to store large amounts of data in this case like a holocron only there could be a great deal more stored and no gatekeeper to seal away the information." She brought the resonance chambers into view while working with it and the resonance was altering as she looked it over and slowly brought the chambers into alignment. The music playing with the locks opened the vault doors while Matsu was looking in and disconnecting her holo as the small chamber closed with the crystals. "Once you know how to work the locks you can get the real treasures at the end of the quest." Matsu was entering the vault as the clothing and artifacts fro other worlds came to her view, bowls and vases that were encrusted with jewels but also crystals. "These are lightsaber crystals, those are padawan healing crystals and that." Matsu picked it up as she held it. "Is a healing crystal of fire, ancient, powerful and.." SOmething caught her eyes while Matsu was searching over a few things and picked up a glowing purple jewels with her eyes glittering. "Now that is not something you see everyday." She was running a thumb over it and the stone was warm to the touch as she held the chain and set it around her neck. There were more crystals and items around them while she was touching some of the robes. "You might find use with some of these, I recently found robes infused with the lightside."

"Why believe what is proven to not be true?" The Jedi would ask curiously, tilting his head. "Is it because lies bring us comfort, even if they aren't fact? That they're just what we want to hear? Or is there a hidden meaning to your statement that I need to be clued in on? Some clarification would be appreciated, Master" He responded calmly. That was the first time he had referred to Matsu as "Master" in quite some time, but it was more of a respect thing despite the fact that they were equal in rank.

"I see..." He said when she would describe the control crystals. "So upgraded holocrons in crystal form? Interesting. Why hasn't the Jedi mass produced them in some fashion and used them? They could be a useful replacement for holocrons, no?" Joshua would inquire, tilting his head. "But, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. How do you even makes these?" He would add. It was possible that production was just too difficult to mass produce. That would certainly explain why.

It seemed though, that Matsu had hit jackpot. When she uncovered the treasures, he raised an eyebrow as he looked them over. "Guess you were right indeed. Not everythings been picked clean" He would observe aloud.
