STANDARD FEATURES
The T-90D model X-Wing features sensors, computers, and other technology roughly comparable in preformance to other Elite Starfighters produced and used by other major companies and corporations throughout the galaxy, and can be regularly and fairly easily updated with new software and replacement hardware to keep the model in line with evolving technological standards.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Advanced Sensor Suite
[Full Power to Sensors]

  • The T-90D Tandem has a very powerful Sensor Suite it is able to activate in order to perform reconnaissance in a system or provide sensor data to other vessels, often used to triangulate in order to cut through sensor jamming and sensor stealth systems such as those short of Cloaking systems. However it must divert power to this array instead of their combat systems in order to make use of them.
Hyperdrive System
Miscellaneous
Strengths:
  • Advanced Sensor System: The T-90D makes use of a powerful long range sensor array similar to the T-65BR with more powerful and more precise than standard models for accurately assessing ground and air targets with precise.
  • Power Converter: New Incom Models now include Power Converters and a small reserve Power Generator, which allows them to boost one of their combat systems in battle, or assist with a rapid startup sequence.
  • Passive Long Range Stealth: Energy Dampeners, Static Dampeners, and Emission dampeners allow the T-90D model to fly under stealth conditions and hide from most sensors at long range. In order to do this it cannot use its power converters, fire weaponry, or have active shields.
  • Extended Operation: The T-90D is designed for long independent flights, ranging wide swaths of space or launching from a fleet for an action many light-years away. It has fuel efficient engines and large fuel tanks to accomplish this.
Weaknesses:
  • Unassigned Energy: In combat, the reserve power must be assigned by the pilot or droid or it is not utilized or directed. This means when ambushed by enemy craft, the vessel is not able to perform at its full potential for a time while the pilot or droid bring the reactor online and direct it.
  • One System at a Time: The fighter’s power converter can only direct its reserve power to a single combat system at a time, taking several seconds to stop the flow of energy to one system, then redirect it, and begin the flow of energy to the next system.
  • Limited Stealth: The New Incom Line has minor stealth capabilities, but the fighter must power down weapons and shields, and cannot boost engines in order to evade enemy sensors at long range. The system is ineffective at normal ranges.
DESCRIPTION
The latest model of X-Wing, designed by Incom as the next step in the venerable starfighter’s evolution with assistance from Alderaan Engineering. The classic aesthetics and major design features of the StealthX and the T-70 model all found a home in this streamlined stealth oriented vessel, fitted with the computer and sensor systems of modern technological standards for an elite vessel of its kind.

Four powerful laser cannons form the primary weapons for the T-90D, each resting at the wingtips of the ship. They feature gimbal mounts capable of resetting the Zero mark where all four laser blasts intersect with relative ease. A rear-facing twin blaster cannon turret stands as an upgrade from most starfighters controlled by the co-pilot, providing the Tandem with increased offensive weapons against pursuing craft. Two variable warhead launchers mounted on either side of the nose cone, each capable of firing a series of different warheads from an internal magazine. Proton, Ion, Plasma, and Mag-pulse torpedoes, Proton Rockets, Intruder Missiles, Shadow Bombs, and Concussion Missiles are all able to be loaded into the magazine. The magazine is capable of unloaded and reloading weaponry quickly, allowing the pilot to change the next ordnance to be launched during combat. The Magazine holds between six rockets and twelve missiles when fully loaded. As a final weapon, the new T-95 has a light blaster cannon concealed in its chassis that can be lowered and rotated three hundred sixty degrees. While not overly powerful it is capable of firing backwards at pursuit craft and firing at ground attackers.

As a patrol craft and a long range strike fight, the T-90D Tandem is fitted with powerful sensor arrays in its nose cone in order to allow it to patrol systems of space, provide initial reconnaissance on surveyed planets, and to collect reliable data for use as well as cut through most forms of sensor jamming and detect hidden ships and stations at long range through sensor dampening and static. They make excellent nebula fighters because their enhanced sensors are able pierce through dense space phenomena and other obstacles, as well as provide accurate data on ships in their sensor range.

As an upgrade from the older models and based from the TR-20 design aspects, the T-90D Model features a reduced sensor signature assisted by energy, static, and emission dampeners that allow the vessel to operate under stealth conditions. When doing so its weapons and shields must be powered down, and the ship’s power converter cannot be directed. In doing so, the passive stealth allows the ship to hide from most sensors and scanners while at long range, but is rendered ineffective at close range and engagement ranges.

The main difference between the T-90D Model and previous Incom designs is the Power Converter and Reserve Power Generator, a concept borrowed from Alderaan Engineering and miniaturized for starfighters. This Converter and reserve power allows the pilot of the T-90D to amplify their combat abilities during flight, such as switching power to weapons when making an attack run, boosting shields while being pursued in a dogfight, or turbo-boosting engines in order to escape capture from a tractor beam.

Hi! I will be reviewing this submission.

What kind of stealth system is this vessel equipped with? Is this in reference to the advanced hyperdrive, or another system entirely?

Going back over the submission, the edits you made clarify the stealth ability/ capabilities of the vessel, and that is reflected in the strengths. Looks good to go!

Change Log
  • Reduced Defense
  • Increased Squadron Count (Is technically one shift over)
  • Reorganized Advanced/Standard Systems (Nothing added)
  • Changed Name
