Mirdirmorut designed this with the main idea of people versing force users without a melee weapon. They designed it to be within a brace that could be added to armour. This is Mirdirmorut starting to work it's way into armour designs. It is a vibroblade and uses DION Fibre to get around the virbo's weakness of losing it's edge due to Ion attacks.
Due to the vibroblades nature, it is able to cut thru a lot of standard materials with relative ease. given that it is a brace the weapon itself requires no hands however this makes it hard to use at times as well.
