Swimming with the Fishes [Silvers and Jedi, PM for Invite]

Connor watched and noted everything being said; the technicality of such things were beyond him, so this was a nice little step by step in the workings of this weapon. Taking the hilt in his hand, it didn't feel too different, a little more comfortable in his grip, but that's all.

Patting Gareth on the back, he walked out of the Corvette and over to the waters around the docking bay, and ignited the blade with a snap-hiss, hesitating for a second before swiping the blade across the water.

The blue blade cut through the water without any resistance and no visible reaction. He knelt down and plunged his hand under the surface, twirling it in his hand and smiling at the novelty of it. Killing the blade and pulling it out, he looked over at [member="Gareth Yalthik"] and gave the thumbs up.

Nodding in approval, he fixed the lightsaber hilt to his wetsuit belt where a gap once resided, and felt complete. He stepped over the docking bay and placed his hands on the shoulders of both [member="Anastasia Rade"] and [member="Nima Tann"], and looked over to [member="Jeela Tillian"] with a smile.

"Glad you could join us ladies. Hope you're up for some fun."

He smiled at them all and moved over to where [member="Coci Sinopi"] stood before the craft ready to depart with them.

Gareth smiled widely. He was glad it worked and nodded back. He then turned to the ladies as Connor walked over and embraced them. This was his first adventure underwater. He wondered how it would be. Would they get to see a lot of aquatic life and interact with the locals? He couldn't wait! It was a shame he couldn't invite Aria along, but oh well. He could always tell her about it when he got back.

He walked over to the seating area to buckle in.

"Well, I will drive", she said climbing into the pilot seat. Although she hates flying, pilot a water vehicle would not be to bad and it might keep her mind off the motion of the ocean.

As the others finally settle in, Coci pushed the transport forward and out onto the surface of the water with a splash before the vehicle began to skim the surface. The sensors giving her readings of underwater obsticles and the signs of aquatic life, nothing to worry about at this point.

The wind played in her hair and she took in deep breaths enjoy the freshness of it. She hoped the others would enjoy this too, the day is lovely beating down on them a sense of joy and warmth. She keep her eye on the direction not wishing to stray off course, not that it really mattered that much, as the caves in these parts are vast and long.

After a good half hours of travel she stopped the vehicle and shut down the engines. The sound of silence immediate save for the lapping of the waves against the side of the transport. She turned around leaning an arm on the back of her seat, "Everyone get ready and lets go!".

Stepping into the small boat, Connor sat at the rear, to get a good view of the world around them. The others soon followed and there was a nice sense of mutual camaraderie; the galaxy may face tyranny, but these select few were still the ones keeping the Light alive.

”Don’t hit any rocks, please!” Connor jeered from the back, like a cheeky student out with class.

The engines growled into life and the craft was soon cutting across the waves. The planet was bright, the air was clean and nature was bristling with the Force around them all. Connor inhaled deeply, suinting against the wind whipping past them all, engaging in excited chatter and enjoying being alive.

He hung his arm over the side and skimmed the surface of the water with his fingers, a sharp sting cracking against the tips with the speed they were going.

It was a pleasant journey and Connor easily could have dozed off with how relaxed his was, were it not for the pregnant Jedi navigating that kept him on his toes.

Circling an area of water, the craft came to a stop, and the call came for them to get ready.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
"Well I am here for the fun. You don't always get the chance to explore the underwater." And looking Connor move towards Master Sinopi with his suit, a small grin formed on her face, what a good looking... suit, yeah. The suit was the good looking one. "I need to say though, I agree with Master Sinopi. I heard that Master Harrison here isn't as good as a pilot than as a soldier. But he sure knows how to look great in a suit that doesn't even look good." A little laugh escaped her lips, she was just teasing... One could say, Nima was different than before. She didn't think as much as she thought while speaking... Her confidence was growing. So was her power... She felt different... but in a good way. As Master Sinopi sat on the pilot seat. Everyone made themselves comfortable, and there was no reason to stay in here any longer. So they started their journey.

After a good amount of 30 minutes, the engine stopped, they were middle in the ocean, and it looked clean and refreshing looking below. "Well, if everyone's ready, let's explore this place." She slowly stood up from her seat and prepared her suit and took a deep breath. She always liked to swim with her sister, so she was maybe the most excited off them all. Using bandages to tie her lekku back of her head, she was now ready for action.

She stood up and began to move to the back of the tranport, climbing over all of them. "Sorry", she said treading on Connor, "Pardon", to Nima. "Pregnant woman coming through", pushing the others out of the way. "Sorry Gareth, I hope that was not something vital", she said realising her foot had landed on something soft. She is on her way to the latch at the back.

Opening the compartment to find all the needed equipment, she gathered what she required. A mask and re-breather and a spare tank. Strapping a heavy belt around her waist to allow her to sink with more ease. And finally flippers.

Flopping her way to the edge of the transport, Coci jumped in and pushed out away from the transport for the others to enter the water. Floating on her back and taking it easy, enjoying the warmth of the sun's rays on her body, she must have looked a sight with her belly bulging out of the water. She remember a reference to her being a human submarine, and she began to laugh.

”Ow, for….” Connor hissed, exhaling sharply as Coci caught him and bumbled along through the others in the boat, rocking gently on the waves as she moved to the rear.

Picking up his helmet, which had a full frontal visor, Connor moved to the rear as Coci entered the water. He smiled at her, clearly enjoying the freedom of the water beneath her and a fair sized bump floating like a little island.

Disregarding flippers, Connor pulled on his helmet. Once submerged, he would pull down the visor and activate the oxygen tank which fed through two tubes into the helmet. Lightsaber fixed to his belt along with a small blade, he was ready.

Sitting on the edge of the boat, he lowered himself in and pushed out on his back and let the water drift him around for a few seconds, turning to tread water and wait for the others.

It was. Gareth bit back a yelp of pain as he felt Coci step on his foot. She was like a freight train moving through piles of people. He exhaled sharply following that and wiggled his foot. He was lucky he was wearing boots otherwise he feared what his toes would have looked like without them.

When the pain subsided he followed Connor to the rear of the ship, and allowed him to go first before he jumped in. With everything set, he went third.

Gareth took a seat on the edge of the boat, lowering himself in the water before pushing off. He then activated his oxygen tank and breathed in the fresh rush of air that flooded his helmet. The warm stream of water felt cool against his suit, amplifying the feeling of relaxation that he felt. He could stay here all day if it wasn't for this mission.

With a soft smile emerging on his face as he observed Coci's shared blissfulness, he waited for the others.

As the others began to enter the water and ready for the dive, Coci turned over and placed the regulator in her mouth, the mask over her eyes and soon disappeared beneath the water. It took a few moments for her eyes to adjust to the dark water, but soon her brilliant black eyes could pierce the surroundings, pupils large to let in what light filtered downward.

Communication would not prove a problem, as they could do that easy enough through telepathy. Her legs kicked in a gently rythmn, her arms lay against her side lazy and soft. It was not long before she began to see the start of the underwater garden with it's unique foliage, colourful and varied. Long tendrils of seaweed waved toward them, many speices of aquatic creatures swam between the swaying weed, some curious others disappeared with fright.

However, Coci pushed on, and delighted in the vivid colours of the coral and fish, until she reached what appeared to be a rocky outcrop. She turned to see where the others are, and she would wait before proceeding further in.

Gareth treaded water. Coci went beneath it. The others were still on the boat. Connor, while not anything more than a brother of the Silver Shadows to her, felt a compelling duty to keep an eye out for Coci; pregnant and bride-to-be, it was almost the one thing that motivated him to be a better person and ensure her future with Thurion was secure and safe and nothing would harm her…including her own craving to push herself as a Jedi.

He pulled down the visor and felt the oxygen tank kick in with steady, small bursts of oxygen feeding through. The temperature H.U.D kicked in to the top of his visor and he raised his hand to Gareth, signalling he was going down.

Pushing down with his arms, the water swallowed him up and felt warm and comfortable around him. The light was perfect coming in from above and he followed the figure ahead diving down towards the reef below full of life and colour. Connor’s eyes trailed along the sea life and underwater fauna that he passed by. This was truly another world. So much time spent on land, and so much more underneath lay undiscovered.

He reached out for some rock and held onto it, pulling himself down to get a good view of some strange purple crab-like creatures walking in unison between long fingers of seaweed and rock. Why was it, he often felt more peace when on worlds that were almost alien to him.

Gareth nodded and turned on the oxygen tank, bringing up the H.U.D. His screen was filled with various things; temperature, the amount of available oxygen, etc. He waited till it all appeared before diving in. The water then swallowed him whole and formed around his body as he pushed through the big blue. He couldn't help but smile at the aquatic life that passed him by.

It was like a whole new world separated from the chaos and strife that took place above. He couldn't help but envy the simplistic life of animals sometimes. They only had to worry about survival, although that in itself could be tough. But it was a lot better at times than the things he had to deal with. You know? You just couldn't not think about it sometimes.

He lowered himself further allowing his fingers to get tangled in the seaweed. It flowed around him and as he approached he took note of the oddly-colored crabs, and the rock outcrop Coci floated by. He wondered what laid beneath.
