SPECIAL FEATURES
- Teresa Pelles Crystal - Grows alongside its attuned wielder and dominator by absorbing the excesses energies in turn the crystal would augment Teresa's own powers and physical finesse.
- Cyclic crystal array - is a component in the saber that allowed the wielder to change between multiple focus crystals.
- Fibercord - Extends at the base of the hilt. The Cord as a lenght of 3m in each hilt. At the end of the cords is the bell rings which can interlock.
- Non-Dimetris Circuitry - prevent a lightsaber from been shorted out by objects made by the brittle material called cortosis. For many wielders of lightsabers cortosis is a major problem.
- Teresa Pelles Crystal - After the crystals where beyond bled and corrupted, they became dependent on their owner and will grow as she does. Like most crystals that have wills in the force, the pair of Teresa Pelles Crystals can become unruly for other wielders making the blade feel clumbersom to weild.
- Immune to Cortosis shorting out the lightsaber.
- What it can't stop - like all lightsabers, this cannot stop sonic, scattershot weapons and cannot pass through material resistant to lightsabers.
- Not standard design - Unlike the average Lightsaber the design of the Svikin Hjörtu is unique due to its extra length for a single handed blade and the non standard components it is more weighty feel than others.
Svikin Hjörtu is the first pair of lightsabers Teresa has crafted for herself though not the first Lightsaber she has owned. During the events of the annihilation of Tython Teresa had her own goals alongside her Mentor
Darth Carnifex
. During the battle she took part in the killing of many jedi and soldiers, during that battle she was drawn to a double bladed lightsaber which was later ripped apart for the crystals housed inside. Her aim was to simply bleed the crystals inside however the effects of the rituals and immense darkside energies shrouding the world allowed her to connect with power beyond her own. During the process her mind was drawn to moments of her past that left its scars in the woman's past as a slave and experiment. The heavy negative emotions that welled up inside was pushed onto the crystal as it felt her many desires of freedom in its many forms. This impacted the crystals beyond normal as it not only bled but became dependant bound, corrupting the very core of the blade turning it black as the void. When Teresa finally came two she could feel the crystals dependency and want to serve its sadistic master.Over the next many months following those events the woman put many hours into the study of lightsabers and it's parts ensuring that the woman gets something that is her own completely. The hilt falls slightly outside the normal designs having its grip further down to the base allowing more reach. While it is an unusual choice it was a necessity to gain every inch of reach without sacrificing ergonomic fit and feel in the hand.
The grip of the hilt though not high end material it was made for both comfort and and the strength of the hold; It makes up of two materials Gel-Foam to add a cushion and even absorb a little bit of impact shock, and a Textured rubber. At the top end of the grip is the switch for the Lock activation. This was a very needed addition due to Teresa's fighting style as the hilt will not always be in her hands. Moving over to the rest of the casing of the hilt it is made up of a few materials and could resemble an art piece. On the top end is the switch for the Cyclic crystal array allowing Teresa to switch between both focus crystals; Teresa Pelles crystal and the Blackwing Crystal. The secondary focus crystal was acquired due to its unique properties of appearing as a dark, smokey ash blade. A perfect tool for the veil of night and as a means to incite fear.
