STANDARD FEATURES
  • The Supremacy II-class is outfitted with all the features and facilities one would expect from a vessel of its size and purpose.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • Invasion Carrier: Sporting a complement of ten squadrons of starfighters and numerous support craft, the Supremacy II is exceedingly well suited for its role as a dedicated carrier, with its vast passenger quarters and expansive storage halls being able to hold legions of soldiers and the droves of atmospheric vessels and ground vehicles needed to support them.
  • Powerful Defences: Featuring a thick hull and heavy shielding, the Supremacy II's defences were designed to withstand extensive enemy fire, though its relative scarcity of high-yield weaponry makes it clear that the vessel is not designed to operate without escorts.
Weaknesses:
  • Lumbering Behemoth: Being barely more manoeuvrable than your average space station and fairly slow to boot, the Supremacy II is all but incapable of everything but simple manoeuvres, and even they take time.
  • Dedicated Support: While the quartet of long-range turbolasers mounted on its ventral hull are especially well suited for precise orbital bombardment, the Supremacy II lacks the firepower to stand up to most capital ships at range, let alone up close. It is, however, outfitted with an extensive array of anti-missile and anti-starfighter weaponry, though even this is lacking when compared to vessels designed to take a more active role in naval engagements.
Description:
In a bygone age, the Krath were conquerors. In their Holy Crusade, entire worlds fell before their onslaught, an onslaught led by the aptly named Supremacy-class Attack Ships.

Much has changed since then.

After the fall of the Galactic Alliance, as the Krath once more moved to impose their will upon the stars, they needed a new cruiser to serve the same purpose. Inspired by these designs of old, the Krath leadership commisioned a successor from Koros Spaceworks, the Empress Teta-based company that had once designed and manufactured the original.

Of course, the powers of the Galaxy have long since moved away from the idea of a single vessel serving every role in the navy. The new Supremacy, measuring in at around seventy-five percent longer than the original, would be no jack-of-all-trades. No, the new Supremacy was designed to be a support ship first and foremost; notably, this specialisation, alongside the sixfold increase in volume when compared to the original, allows the Supremacy II to carry a truly staggering amount of Starfighters, soldiers, vehicles, and supplies.

It may not be much use in a direct firefight and it might not be very graceful, but when it comes to deploying swarms of Starfighters and hordes of soldiers, few ships compare.
