EMP/ion resistance, electronics casings, insulated power routing, protected circuitry, and heat-resistant system housings. Universal Armor Systems
System Purpose Notes Self-Sealing Properties Seals small punctures, cuts, and pressure leaks to preserve environmental protection. Best treated as a suit layer, not a full armor repair system. Antisepsis System Kills mold, spores, bacteria, and similar contaminants. Useful for long marches, wet climates, field hospitals, and sealed armor wear. Comprehensive De-Icing System Clears frost from joints, seals, visor edges, and moving plates. Works best as a low-power heating and surface-clearing system. Self-Repair System Patches minor field damage and assists routine armor maintenance. Does not replace armorers, full repairs, or damaged plate replacement. Modular Power Standard
Shared power cells, capacitors, and routing points support the helmet, gauntlets, boots, belt, and cuirass.Uses common military-grade power cells and standardized routing for easier supply and repair. Emergency Shield Compatibility
Optional connection points for small shield projectors, ion shielding, particle shielding, or thermal shielding.
Better treated as specialist, elite, or limited-issue kit rather than standard Legionnaire equipment. Undersuit / Body Glove

STRENGTHS
Strength Details Heavy Infantry Protection Layered armor plates give the suit strong protection against common blaster fire, fragments, debris, blunt impact, glancing slugthrower strikes, and battlefield punishment. Environmental Protection Seals, filters, anti-corrosion treatments, radiation shielding, chemical-resistant layers, acid-resistant coatings, and life-support fittings allow Legionnaires to operate through smoke, ash, rain, mud, polluted air, salt spray, harsh weather, and contaminated battlefield conditions. Emergency Survival Capability The armor can support short-term sealed operation, brief vacuum exposure, shipboard decompression, underwater emergencies, low-air compartments, and polluted atmospheres long enough for withdrawal or rescue. Long-Campaign Utility Harness mounts, hydration systems, survival supplies, repair tools, filters, air canisters, rations, rope, binders, field lights, signal gear, and weathercloak fittings make the suit useful for patrols, sieges, guard duty, shipboard work, and foul-weather deployments. Command Link Compatibility Allows officer and specialist suits to coordinate with scouts, Aerie crews, gunships, orbital assets, watchtowers, and command posts when signal conditions allow.
- WEAKNESSES
-
WEAKNESSES
Weakness Details Heavy Warplate The armor is heavy and can wear a person down over prolonged use. Soldiers without proper conditioning may suffer fatigue during long marches, extended guard duty, climbing, or sustained combat. Training Required Legionnaires must be trained to move, fight, march, climb, kneel, recover, seal the suit, manage air reserves, use injectors, handle gauntlet bracing, maintain boot locks, read helmet systems, and fight properly while wearing the armor. Slow to Don The armor takes time to put on correctly, especially when sealing the helmet, gaskets, harness, filter collar, air fittings, injector suite, power connections, gauntlet nodes, visor modules, hydration lines, and boot locks. Maintenance-Dependent Filters, gaskets, straps, seals, electronics, air fittings, power cells, injector cartridges, hydration cartridges, visor parts, hardcoat treatments, and plates must be inspected, cleaned, repaired, or replaced after heavy use. Power-Dependent Systems Comms, diagnostics, injector systems, air regulation, hydration support, repulsor bracing, seal controls, visor systems, and servo assistance all rely on the power harness. If power is drained or disrupted, the suit remains protective but loses much of its support function. Limited Reserves Air canisters, oxygen reserves, filters, rebreather parts, hydration packs, medical cartridges, and water-reclamation supplies are limited and must be replaced after use. Waterproof, Not Deep-Diving Gear The armor can handle rain, spray, mud, shallow immersion, floods, and short underwater emergencies, but it is not built for deep-pressure diving or extended underwater combat. Medical Limits The injector system stabilizes. It cannot replace surgery, instantly restore lost blood, heal catastrophic wounds, or keep a soldier fighting forever. Wrong dosing, depleted cartridges, damaged ports, or repeated stimulant use can endanger the wearer.
