Galactic Alliance Rapporteur
The Brotherhood of the Maw continues its bloody rampage toward the Core and toward heart of the Galactic Alliance. Fresh off a string of defeats at Selvaris and Xa Fel, the Alliance makes a stand on key worlds to stem the tide of darkness that threatens both the Core and the wider galaxy.
The coronation of the Empress had promised to signal a new dawn for the Core world of Empress Teta, a rare moment of hope amid the gloom and ruin of a ten-year war. Intent to break the spirit of the Starbird, the Brotherhood launches a bloodthirsty invasion led by the Krath cultists to disrupt the coronation and reclaim their world. Despite the valiant efforts of the New Jedi Order, the Alliance and mechanised Tetan forces, the Brotherhood was able to open a hypergate buried beneath the Iron Citidel and overwhelm the defenders.
At nearby Foerost, the Alliance fleets marshalls to defend the orbital shipyards, vital to their continuing war efforts. Both within the shipyards and onboard cruisers and starfighters, the Alliance fights in vain to hold back to Brotherhood’s onslaught. Outgunned and weary, the Alliance is forced to order a retreat and salvage what remains of their forces to defend against future incursions into the Core.
Break the Brotherhood’s Shatterpoint at Tython to avenge the Alliance and turn the tide of darkness.

To all those who fought for or alongside the Alliance during the Invasion of Empress Teta and Foerost, the following titles - Defender of Empress Teta and Defender of Foerost - are given (with bonus titles for our amazing opponents).
The Skywalker Order of Merit is awarded to those who have shown extraordinary acts of valor in the field of battle. The award is named for Luke Skywalker, who helped save the galaxy from the more dire moments of despair, and Leia Organa Skywalker who distinguished herself as a heroic leader of the fight against the Brotherhood of The Maw.

The Golden Starbird was one of the first great distinctions awarded by the Alliance to individuals who have performed heroic service in the battle against the darkness. This medal is named for the seal of the Alliance which represents the ideals of the faction.
