HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Faith Sect emerged as a response to the distortion and exploitation of the Son of Suns prophecy, a sacred belief deeply woven into the fabric of the Sun Guard's religious traditions. The rogue faction within the Sun Guard, driven by a hunger for power and a warped interpretation of the prophecy, sought to manipulate the religious aspect to fulfill their ambitions. They viewed the Son of Suns not as a figure destined for spiritual guidance but as a tool for political dominance.

These rogue Sun Guards, skeptical of the prophecy's spiritual depth, saw an opportunity to exploit the faith of Thyrsus for their gain. Believing the religious fervor of the prophecy was beyond their comprehension, they aimed to mold young Atos Vodus into a puppet king. Their plan was to control him, transforming Thyrsus into a global military dictatorship under their command. This power-hungry faction, rejecting the genuine spiritual significance of the Son of Suns, sought to wield it as a means to assert control over the entire planet.

Even after the schism within the Sun Guard, a lingering skepticism persisted among some military factions. The split between those who adhered strictly to the mercenary traditions and those who embraced the Faith Sect's religious teachings created a rift that extended beyond ideology. The Faith Sect, under the leadership of the Supreme High Priest, sought to mend relations and bridge the gap between the two factions.

Despite the High Priest's efforts, the mercenary split remained distant, questioning the validity of the spiritual path. It was Atos Vodus who played a pivotal role in convincing the Sun Guards of the Faith Sect once more. To earn the allegiance of those in the Faith Sect, he entered into grueling gladiatorial duels, displaying not only physical prowess but also a deep connection to the Force. Atos, bearing the scars of both physical and emotional battles, emerged victorious, proving his dedication to the true essence of the Son of Suns prophecy and earning the unwavering loyalty of those who followed the Faith Sect. The scars he carries are a testament to the trials faced and overcome, symbolizing the resilience and pride of the Sun Guard in the face of internal strife which he hopes to use in the future to unite the Sun Guards.

I‘d live it if you could flesh out the history a bit more…

How was the prophecy exploited?
What did they do to combat that and restore order?
Are there particular moments of conflict or trouble within the guards that required more guidance than others?

These are just ideas of where more history could be added.
