And there it was.

Indignant rage, expectations of understanding for a request that was off from the start. The cause was clear, the reason uncertain. ‘Her’ wanted asked for the impossible from a stump and got angry when the tree didn’t grow.

Colette sprung into stance along with the others. No blade active, hand on the hilt on her belt.

Lily watched the discussions continue and sighed, it did not seem that there was an understanding that was coming together. She looked around and wondered where things escalated to where they were now. Lily breathed in deeply and raised a hand to Her. "...Don't make this any worse than it has to be." Lily did not think that this was going exacting how anyone assumed or desired the current events to unfold in this manner. "We wanted to ensure that this went without incident and there was no questions that could be held on your loyalties."

There was a sense of disappointment that there was not an easy resolution to these events. Doubts were always going to be held but Lily had no real idea of who this was. What past was held that could help their case. Thinking about the fact that she was spy, Lily looked to the council, "I might be able to gain further information to help us provide a more informed decision on how to handle all this." Lily just had to hope that her aunt still had a connecting number to Allyson Locke Allyson Locke to see what the spy might know about Her.

The time traversing the Mid Rim Territories of the High Republic and into the Outer Rim systems to Lianna can take an individual several weeks depending what routes were taken and if interstellar phenomena interrupted your course. It leaves one a lot of time to reflect in those lonely moments where there was nothing left to do but burn away time. Oddities can form themselves up from the nether of the mind and tear apart your imagination on what could be and what isn't. Ala often came to Her in those moments. A reminder of the person that she was before the fall.

The Jedi that she had been if not for the path that had been paved before Her.

Ala Quin said:
"Yes. You are."

Her's thumb rested upon the ignition of her Lightsaber. It would only take one swing and she would be rid of this woman. Death is a freeing experience after all. As the beast within continued to raise it's snout at the prospect of a fight-- while Colette, Basran and Decoria surrounded them to defend their leader-- Her felt the compulsion to attack the Jedi Grandmaster. Five years of acts and impersonations among Diarchs or Imperials in the Outer Rim had had their affect. It would be so satisfying to let loose. To drop the façade and give into the base desires of a Dark Lord of the Sith.

With one swing Ala Quin would be no-more. That is all it would take.

Then, at the very least, Her would be free of that smile.

Behind the rim of their shades Her's eyes fell again as Lily tried to soothe and convince them not to make things worse than what they already were. The thumb, which was mere centimetres from bringing to life the weapon that Her wielded in her palm, slid away from the trigger held in the grip of their palm and within the beast lowered itself back into the depths where the soul used to be disappointed that it's host would not give into temptation or anger but was instead fuelled by a cunning mind that had seen to the collapse of three star empires.

This duel would be postponed. Not until Her had what she wanted from these Shiraya-Jedi first.

Darth Ayra said:
"A master never reveals himself or herself."

"Of course," Her lied to Lily again as she feigned calmness.

Lowering their hand down to Ala's outstretched palm, Her gave the Grandmaster the Lightsaber and surrendered without any further incident.

Ala's fingers curled around the hilt of the blade, brushing against the fingers of the Sith. She paused, smile wilting before she withdrew both hand and saber. Her gaze did not retreat, though the temptation was strong.

"Restrain Ella Nova. Deliver her to the Temple Guards. Insure all visits are logged and recorded," she said, words soft but firm.

She pulled her hand back, placing the saber on the arm of her chair. The hilt rippled with a dark, ominous tone that caused the hairs of her arm to stand aright. A shiver ran up her spine.

She tapped her console, requesting the guards entrance. The door slid open quickly, and the guards entered, sabers igniting and pointing towards the woman who stood over the master.

Ala stood. Her height not imposing in the slightest. But her control a resounding endorsement of her title.

Nova was close. Ala did not budge.

"We will speak soon. Ella...Nova."

Her gaze broke from the Sith and looked towards her fellow council members. "You may stand down. I thank you for your diligence."
