History: With the quickening expansion of the Sith Empire, top secret projects were moved to a secure orbital installation on a distant Gas Giant designated as Styx, while the station was codenamed Thanatos. The installation was built within the upper atmosphere of the Gas Giant to remain hidden within the constant churning storms in the cloud-like atmosphere, with the station being protected by energy shields that would repel the storms and save the station from being destroyed. To protect anyone from just accidentally waltzing onto the facility, every natural satellite of the gas giant was outfitted with automated defensive weapon emplacements that would be manned by a small crew that would alternate every few weeks or so. The Gas Giant itself has no real purpose except to hide the secret Imperial research station lying within its clouded atmosphere.

Intent: To create a secret installation for the Sith Empire's most destructive projects to be held and worked on, as well as providing a setting for any future campaigns that may involve Republic agents trying to gain access to Imperial secrets, and for a place for those secrets to start at.
