Lord of Refuge
"Hello... my name is Jasper Kai'el. I am a Jedi Master... formerly of the New Jedi Order. I don't have long on the airways, so I'll keep things as to the point as I can. My home was Coruscant. There's no way around that. I lived there my whole life, and I was certain I'd die there. The Core Worlds as we know them are in shambles. It's easy to get wrapped up in what could have been. Kick yourself for not fighting harder, or doing better. That doesn't matter now. The Core is lost, and the trajectory of this war has made it clear that the worst is yet to come. I cannot fight people's wars anymore. I gave everything I had to that cause. My sweat, blood, limbs... I can't keep doing that. What I can do, however, is protect one place.
There are coordinates encrypted in this message that will take you to a remote part of space. If you have lost your way... lost your place, lost your home, lost your people... Go there. A vessel will be waiting to lead you to a safe haven. It is far from the Core, far from the war, far from the Empire... Supplies will be modest. Expect a dip in technology at the very least. You'll likely have to work to build yourself something new. Housing is being constructed for anyone who needs it, but the process is slow. This place is called Refuge. For thousands of years the lost and forgotten have stumbled to this place to make something new out of themselves. Now, when it feels like everything is lost, maybe you feel the exact same way. If you come you will be offered food and protection. We will make sure you are safe and comfortable, even if you only plan on staying for a little while.
If you're a Jedi out there, or anyone who remotely wants to make a difference... I ask you bring what you can. Food, water, clothes, labor... I have only managed to scrounge up so much. My pride will not deny me from accepting the fact that I need the help of others. It will be... messy. I'm expecting sick, wounded, and broken people. Lots have already begun the journey. I can only ask that you pay a visit if you can manage... maybe volunteer some of your time. That is all. This message will play until... hopefully someone who cares listens.
