Handsome blindfolded hyper-religious whackjob
Hello there, one and all. As I've been making my way around the Discord servers. I've found myself with quite the hunger to get involved with things. Especially through the lens of a more naive mindset. As through various TTRPGs I've been playing recently. I've ended up with a bunch of cynical grumps as my characters. So I'm looking to break the mould. Mostly by playing an idealistic idiot who's blissfully unaware of the massive ramifications of all the Realpolitik going on and just goes around acting as a Knight Errant.
But. There is only so much that a Padawan can do on his own. And there is only so much he can learn through exploring the Galaxy. And it is to my great regret, I have not spent much time with my own faction. So. I humbly request that someone take this implusive, but well-meaning Padawan under their wing.
Pros: You get yourself a dedicated and talented student. Diligent and (mostly) obedient. At first glance, he's an ideal Padawan. Showing compassion, a desire to bring justice to all and a great deal of restraint in his actions. Doing his best to stick by the Jedi code and live up to the ideals of the Order that took him in.
Also imagine this. The sheer usefulness of having such a dedicated and talented student on hand; You wish to have a dramatic duel with your Sith Rival. But his annoying minions keep getting in your way? Yeet the Padawan at them while John Williams score plays in the background. Leaving you to your own business.
Looking for an excuse to duel your Sith rival but your pesky code will not let you? Yeet your Padawan at them to get captured. Allowing you to act to save his helpless self.
Craving a Bantha burger but you need to keep up the appearance of a wise Ascetic disallows you to have such indulgences. Claim you're treating your Padawan for a job well done. The applications are endless.
Cons: Of course, there are downsides. Having a Padawan is a lot of responsibility. You'll be tasked with the responsibility of giving a farm boy with little knowledge of the greater galaxy some perspective of his place in the universe. Which will be an uphill battle. As while Aaran is quite skilled a the physical aspects of a Jedi. He struggles with the wisdom and restraint needed to truly excel.
You'll also have to keep an eye on him. He's got a habit of wandering off to satiate his wanderlust. There's also the minor, not very important really, craving he has for excitement and danger. A small part of him finding enjoyment in the battles he finds himself in. Not out of a desire to hurt anyone. But simply out of the sheer adrenanline rush he gets from being in danger and testing his own physical abilities.

So. If any members of the Order of Silver Jedi are looking for a Padawan Learner. Or if a fellow Padawan is looking for a buddy to go out and see the Galaxy with. Please, let me know.
