Description: The Strike-class Corvette is an ambitious, some would call dangerous, design. Lacking a hyperdrive itself, the Strike-class was designed from the ground up to be ferried into combat zones within the new Kerrigan-class Star Defender. Fighters and other support craft are stored on hydraulic platforms that raise up to a 90° elevation while the ship is in hyperspace, leaving the fighters and other support craft in a "normal" orientation. As the corvette is launched, the platforms lower and magnetic clamps release, allowing them to launch normally.

For the crew of the corvette, the whole experience of traveling inside another capital ship can be nauseating. The Kerrigan's larger mass and stronger artificial gravity overwhelms the corvette's artificial gravity, thus while the corvette is stored in the carrier ship, it's left with a, relatively speaking, rotated axis of gravity. As a result, crew have six weeks in training designed to help them acclimate to the odd orientation they're frequently in. In fact, crew space is cut short due to the need to stock quarters with beds on two different axis in order to facilitate comfortable travel in normal space or while stored in a larger capital ship.

Beyond the unusual method of getting in to a fight, the Strike-class is very standard for a corvette. It has light deflector shields that, while capable of holding against starfighters and bombers, are incapable of standing up to direct capital ship combat, and as such relies primarily on speed to stay in combat operations.

So several questions about the description on this one.
Why wouldn't you include a hyperdrive in this, why does it need an orientation change to be ferried, why do the fighters need one while it is, why does the orientation change disorient the crew, aren't they used to it, why doesn't the ship's own gravity make down always down?

Approved pending secondary.
No idea why you wouldn't hyper these in, but god help you if this is just a way to get 48 fighters out of an assault SD.
