Despite the lingering thoughts and opinions of the former Mand'alor, Yuri didn't forget about the request he made to Carduul. The Hound was many things, but insincere was not one of them. The Mand'alor had offered his assistance with retrieving some goods and Yuri was going to make good of it. What he didn't account for was a rescue operation throwing a spanner in their works.

But all was back to normal now. The fleet had returned, Vara was safe... and the mutt could stop with his dooming thoughts.

Yuri had sent an invitation to Carduul to meet him at the Ironworks once he was able and willing, partially to plan but also to get some input on a few new projects of the Hound's own design. He might not have the genius of his mother before him, but engineering came easier to the mutt than he expected. Every trial and error, every mistake or flop taught him something new. Which left him with nothing better to do than wait for Carduul's eventual arrival.

He kept himself busy with overseeing the main factory floor. A month ago they could only do a handful of small arms at a time. Now production was almost back to normal, with weapons, armour and even vehicles emerging from the forges to go to their respective assembly points. The heat of the Ironworks kept the frigid cold at bay within the mountain, employees and droids were hard at work to finish up before the bell tolled for lunch.

The Hound couldn't help but smile at the operation. "Hope you're happy." He spoke to himself, sparing a glance up at nothing in particular.
