The Stormcrow-class Cruiser, also known as the Stormcrow-class Star Destroyer, was a military starship specifically designed to focus on the transportation of starfighter craft. It was produced by Iron Wrath Industries, and saw use as part of the Iron Imperial Navy.

A dedicated carrier, the Stormcrow eschewed much of its weaponry, in favor of considerable starfighter capacity. This narrow focus, led to the cruiser being able to carry upwards of 8 squadrons of starfighter craft. However, this led to the Stormcrow lacking in offense weaponry. Equipped with a paltry 8 turbolaser batteries, and 6 ion batteries, the cruiser's armaments were more comparable to that of a frigate, than a cruiser.

As a result, the Stormcrow was never intended to directly engage enemy vessels. Rather, its contingent of starfighter craft would set upon the enemy, while the cruiser itself acted a platform for craft to repair, rearm, and refuel. To that end, the Stormcrow was outfitted with ample defensive capabilities, so as to survive extended engagements.

For the most part this looks solid, but we need to take a look at the numbers for a moment.

You got 8 squadrons instead of 6, which usually needs development. This is moderately balanced out by your dip in the armament rating (4 to 2) and the bump down of the maneuverability of the ship (14 to 15).

But then you also bumped up the defenses of the ship itself. (10 to 13)

I can see a few options you got here.

A) Bump down the defenses back to 10 and remove the redundant shield generator. Then you can keep the squadrons without development.

B) Bump down the squadrons to 6 and you can keep the defenses as is without development again.

Let me know which way you want to go or if you see an alternative that can balance out the submission.

Hypothetically, let's say I knock the armament down to 1, and in doing so, half the capitol weapons it has to 4 turbolaser batteries, and 3 ion cannon batteries (or whatever their equivalent is.)

What kind of wiggle room will I have with the hangar/defense rating then?

If you make that edit, I'd stamp it if you also removed the redundant shielding and bumped the defense rating to 12 to reflect that. You could keep the hangar as is then, because that seems to be the main focus of the ship design here right now.
