SPECIAL FEATURES:
  • Simulated electroglobin circulatory system enables shapeshifting ability, limited self-healing, and allows armor to continue to operate within a vacuum.
  • Excellent array of protective capabilities combines with shapeshifting capacity to enable wearers to utilize natural (e.g. species’ traits, genetic disposition, etc.) shape-shifting capabilities.
  • Controlled by cybernetic interface, the armor can reshape along with the wearer’s body, and can – in small ways – be altered further, i.e. to create extended razor-sharp claws, short bladed melee weapons, spiny/spiky texture (akin to the sharp scales of some marine animals), etc.
  • Prototype variant of the Panoptes HUD allows incredible communications, situational awareness, combat assistance, information streaming, etc. through use of a quantum-encrypted hyperwave comlink.
STRENGTHS:
  • Offers terrific levels of protection against a wide-array of damage types.
  • Can morph to create melee weapons such as blades, extended claws, and spiky/spiny textures for use in unarmed or melee combat, even against lightsabers.
  • Self-healing, it can recover from minor damage nearly instantaneously, while more serious damage required longer periods of time to recover proportionate to the scale of damage.
WEAKNESSES:
  • Additional elements cannot be attached or otherwise included to this armor, limiting its modularity and versatility in advance of a particular mission or combat type.
  • Cannot function in the same manner as an EVA suit, as it provides no intrinsic supply of breathable air or defense against extreme pressures. Separate breath masks must be used to provide breathable air, since the armor itself can function without oxygen, however the wearer will still need an adequate supply.
  • Gives no protection against Force-based attacks, magic or alchemy (e.g. Dathomirian Witches, Sith Alchemy, et al), or sonic weaponry. In fact, sonic weaponry can disrupt the armor’s ability to function properly if sufficiently powerful, directed attacks are successfully made against it.
  • Serious damage will require time for the armor to heal itself, proportionate to the scale of damage suffered, and extensive major damage – particularly to the electroglobin circulatory system – can render it entirely unable to function for extended periods of time.
  • Cannot be worn above clothing, and must be maintained close to wearer’s skin to operate properly. Further, once applied, armor ‘bonds’ with its wearer, conforming to their biometrics, and cannot thereafter be worn by anyone else.
DESCRIPTION:

Using the cloned material of the Polydroxol species, blended with elements of Songsteel, Agrinium, Lamanantium, and enclosing a special electroglobin circulatory system based off of the natural systems found within the Polydroxol, this armor is capable of changing shape with its wearer, altering itself at an atomic level to harden against various types of damage and to adjust to wearers’ natural shape-shifting abilities. Although the materials used provide a variety of defensive properties, the alloy process lowers these individual qualities slightly in favor of a better-rounded defensive suite.

Controlled through a special cybernetic interface, the armor shifts to coincide with the wearer’s shapeshifting skills, and even morphing beyond this to create special textures, bladed appendages, extended claws, etc. to aid in melee and unarmed combat. The inclusion of a prototype variant of the Panoptes HUD provides terrific sensor abilities, situational awareness, and aid to combat abilities.

However, this armor is vulnerable to Force-based attacks, various magical and alchemical attacks/weapons, and especially to sonic weaponry, as highly-powered directed sonic attacks can inhibit or even disable the armor’s shapeshifting abilities. It is not like other powered armors, in that it cannot serve as an EVA suit, and requires a special breath mask, etc. used in addition to enable breathing. If damaged, minor damage can be repaired nearly instantly, while more serious damage requires longer periods to recover.
