- Internal Bridge: The Steadfast-Class Heavy Cruiser had an internal command center, instead utilizing a series of powerful sensors and cameras to paint a live view of the space around them with little to no lag which imitated the feel of being on the other side of transparisteel.

Named for the vessel once commanded by legendary Admiral Ar'alani, the Steadfast-Class Heavy Cruiser is a modern and continuously updated version of the same vessel she once commanded. Slightly larger than those older models and with more internal capacity, the modern Steadfast-Class Heavy Cruiser maintained several squadrons of Chiss starfighters and support ships, expanding the warship's mission profile to include long-distance scouting missions. The vessel retained its heavy armament, able to fight toe to toe with most modern vessels of the destroyer class despite its own size. Its Nyix-armor plating and Batuu-Class energy shield was easily up to par with vessels in uncivilized space. Other advancements included more robust navigation systems that aided Chiss Skywalkers in navigating the Chaos and removing some of the guesswork when traveling the treacherous Chaos.
The Steadfast-Class Heavy Cruiser was an amalgamation of years of research, study, and war. While an older design, it retained the respect and trust of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force making it one of the most common large capital ships in Chiss battle formations. With the destruction of Csilla as well as a large portion of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet the Steadfast is more important than ever in defending the Chiss Ascendancy.
