Starting a new character - would like help

I've got a couple slots I'm holding as invite only for a campaign I've just kicked off, the LFG with all the info can be found here, which you'd be more than welcome to join. While it is kinda geared towards Force Users just by nature of the events that are unfolding, there's certainly room for NFUs as well. All that said, though, even though the campaign itself is just getting started I've been laying the groundwork for it across a few different threads here and there, so we're technically reaching the end of the prologue. And, given he's suddenly the last of his Force Using discipline, at the very least Dorin is always on the lookout for potential apprentices, even if they're already knight or better in another discipline. If any of that sounds appealing enough to inquire further, shoot me a PM.

I know that [member="Darth Vyrassu"] is looking for new prospective members to help grow the Order of Jen'ari. He needs committed writers who are willing to pick up some slack in growing the faction, and with growth there comes a lot of opportunity to create stories. I tend to find plotting the rise of new Sith characters and growing more powerful, both influentially and with the Force, is a fun story to chase. It's also easier to develop a Sith character in a new Sith faction than an older one (see Sith Empire). If Sith characters aren't your thing then Jen'ari need NFS characters too. It would help to flesh that faction out more if there were more NFS characters in it.
I also know the New Republic need new characters. There is a growing political scene if that is more your style.
[member="Thraxis"] is also looking for characters for criminal underworld roleplay, particularly on Humbarine. That would involve roleplaying with my character probably.
Just don't copy character ideas or blatant copies from other forms of fiction. Create an original character, even if that character is like playing like yourself in Star Wars. Don't be afraid to push your imagination or ambition with a character. Think big, aim for big. Don't end up with a character that powergames, and don't metagame in your writing. I don't have the role playing group sorted out yet, but I am trying to get it going. I play an artistic serial killer, with ambitions for much more. He is looking to turn the galaxy into a work of art, in whatever way he sees that to be. I am looking for people who would help further along his ideals. If you like, read over my character's bio, and see if that would suit your character or not. If it does, I would love to start a thread, trying to drag your character into the madness too. But either way, hope you find what you are looking for!
