ADVANCED SYSTEMS

STRENGTHS
  • TOUGH AS A 2 DOLLAR NERF STEAK: The primary role of this ship is to get out of trouble through speed and maneuverability as well as stealth systems. The ship's armor plating makes it capable of getting out of tough situations until the nav computer is ready.
  • AUTOMATED: Caltin has his droids "Music" and "Roller", but there is a lot to running a ship this size and he does not have it in him always. The ship's automation allows for him to get going a lot faster than he would alone(though it can operate with one pilot).
  • FASSSSST!: The title says it all.
  • IT FLOATS TOO!: If necessary, the Sentinel can operate floating on water. No real "strength" here, just something cool to have.
WEAKNESSES
  • NOTHING BEATS A LIVE PILOT: Sure, the automation is great, but Caltin needs to shut off the automation system when there is trouble and fly himself or the ship will just fly normally and get pounded.
  • ONE OR THE OTHER: The Starlight Sentinel has a SLAM, and a Cloaking Device, they cannot be used in tandem.
  • BABY TEETH: Sure, it can take a punch and is designed to be able to give one, but the ship is owned by a Jedi, the weaponry is minimal.
  • WAS THIS REALLY NECESSARY?: Okay. great. The new model can load and launch a starfighter. However while doing so, it takes "forever" and the ship is more than compromised, and vulnerable while doing so. This "upgrade" is no upgrade.
  • WASTED SPACE: Great, another landing bay for a fighter, but there is rarely more than one. Wasted space.
DESCRIPTION
This would not be the first ship to be christened "The Starlight Sentinel", or the second. Caltin already has one, and he likes it, but Liram does not and he is in charge of the "R&D" and wanted to give the boss something better. Frankly, the big guy wants a ship that he could just walk onto and it would take off without him, and while that may seem a little "Cruiser-Esque" it works for him as he wanted something fast and more agile than its would-be predecessor. This new ship has few changes from the original, other than a berth for a Jedi Starfighter. This version needed to be something that he could get into a sector quietly and get out quickly, not necessarily a "smuggler's" ship, but something that worked to the same premise, without breaking the law.
