Starfighter Development: Iron Wrath Fighter

Isamu Baelor

Protector of The Iron Realm

All great things must start somewhere. With the Crossbone Triumvirate shattered, broken under the fist of the Migrant Fleet, a new nation rose. They called themselves the Iron Empire, and sought to create a haven, one detached from the every lasting wars of the Jedi, and Sith. To protect their new nation, they pursued the creation of a new, and powerful navy. One to replace the beaten, and broken, ships of the migrant fleet.

At the heart of Iron Empire territory, lay the planet of Arondight: its capitol. It was here, at the military base Avalon, where the Technomancers and Iron Wrath Industries, worked on developing a new fighter for the Iron Empire Navy. Their goal was to create a fighter that was versatile, in both its offensive, and defensive, capabilities. One that could beat back, the enemies who threatened the Iron Empire’s borders.

Spaceworks, Arondight.

There was one rather important aspect of vessel constructions regarding the creation of a starfighter that would act as the backbone of the navy's starfighters - versatility. It had to be capable of numerous functions both offensive and defensive. Hence, why the best of the best Technomancers have gathered here today to design what was to begin construction as soon.

The Iron Wrath Fighter.

It had not been long since the Migrant Fleet of Isamu Baelor had settled and the man had not wasted time to begin immediate operations in the development of the state. Beginning with the defensive force was a logical move and despite Garm being mainly delegated to other development plans in the sphere of administration such as economics, negotiations with local unions and all the jazz that came as a Warden of a planet, the man was still specially called by Emperor Baelor to attend the designs of what would be the signature fighter of the state.

There were no surprises here. Garm was a great navigator and understood space lanes as much as the vessels that operated within that 'realm'. There was no surprises here, when Garm noted the following.

"With our enemies and threats being mostly pirates, and as you all gentlemen know - pirates rely heavily on disabling their targets with ion damage - I suggest we introduce a small but very effective component to our starfighters for the prevention of capturing our pilots - the de-ionizer. "

To his suggestion there were no 'whoa' elements or surprises, just approving nods of the gentlemen and ladies around. In the end, they were professionals and not primitive sentients of a backwater world. Yet, their nods were all that occurred. After which an awkward silence engulfed the chamber, silence so thick a nail dropping on the floor would probably damage someone's ear drums.

"Let me rephrase this suggestion . " Garm cleared his throat. "Get started on it god damn now!"

Like a nest of ants being disrupted suddenly, the chamber emptied itself chaotically and even Garm was surprised at his authoritative tone. It was not often he would order things rather than suggesting them. Apparently, as a Warden, he had to start getting accustomed to being more commanding. There was no other choice, the Crossbone triumvirate was recuperating and building its strength.

They had to be ready.

All of them.
