  • Classification: Lightsaber
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Heavy

  • Chromium Blade: Though the blade has been shattered, and now serves as an emitter guard for the Lightsaber blade, the Chromium Blade is still sharp, and can still cleave through soft materials.
  • Erratic Blade: Due to a flaw in the Lightsaber Matrix, the blade has erratic strands of what appears to be pure sunlight that writhe along the length of the blade. This effect is purely cosmetic and does not have any verifiable impact on weapon performance, positive or negative.
  • Ornate Hilt: Starfang has an ornate and decorative hilt plated with gold, and covered with a leather wrap around the handle. It also features two large gems built into the hilt that offer no discernable combat benefit.
  • Imbued: Starfang is imbued with the embodiment of protection, granting the wielder to manifest a Protection Bubble.

  • Protection Bubble: Starfang grants its wielder the ability to cast Protection Bubble, regardless of their natural skill with the power.
  • Lightsaber: The weapon was once a traditional sword, but after the blade was destroyed, it was reforged as a lightsaber from the shards. This brings all the positive benefits associated with these famous weapons
  • Sigil Crystal: The Lightsaber blade features above average cutting power
  • Chromium Blade: The remnants of the original blade persist, and serve as the emitter guard of the lightsaber. However, the blade is still sharp and capable of cutting softer materials.

  • Chromium Blade: In spite of its functionality, the blade fragment is unable to cut through most metals.
  • Lightsaber: This weapon suffers from all the typical things that lightsabers suffer from (inability to cut certain materials, does not function underwater, etc)
  • Hilt: The hilt is not designed with lightsaber resistant materials, making it susceptible to cleaving attacks.
  • Imbued: The Force Imbuement functions will not work under the effects of Force Suppression or Nullification

In the days of old, a noble order of Force Users walked the galaxy, seeking to bring peace and stability to a galaxy consumed by the Four Hundred Year Darkness. These were the Templars, servants of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. While some carried Lightsabers, other members carried mighty war swords. Starfang was no exception. It's wielder was a mighty warrior, seeking out those who would cause harm and destruction. His campaign against the forces of evil lasted for many decades, until he was finally struck down during a duel with a Sith Lord on the world of Brentaal IV. His sword shattered, and left with his body, was to be buried along with him.

His apprentice, a young knight who had yet to forge a weapon of his own, took it, and reforged the hilt to contain the makings of a Lightsaber. Also versed in the art of Imbuement, the young knight imparted the wisdom of Templars of old, allowing the blade to protect, as well as attack. Starfang lived on through another crusade in the hands of the young knight. The legendary blade was eventually laid to rest with the knight upon his death, in the ancient stronghold upon Roon. There it has lain for hundreds of years, until the Knights Obsidian removed it from the vault, intending to call upon its service once more...
