Balaya was looking on at the two as she was working to make sure. She didn't want one of them to slip and the spirit get into her boob that would whil be funny not be the way to go about things. Taeli was working hard and Carlih knew what her job was. Now to see the fruits of her work. "Very good, you are doing it now push."

Hijinks

Jink had an odd fascination with this part of Sith "Magic". Transmuting a soul into a new body seemed like a perfect way to give yourself nigh-on immortality, if you could find a person or two skilled enough to do it. His thoughts turned a bit morbid as the memory of a conversation he'd had with Carliah almost two months ago came to mind. When his loved ones died, would anybody be willing to help him like this? That Taeli had come was a testament to her friendship with the cat's lover, but what about the Zambrano woman? What had motivated her to come here?

All this he contemplated while sitting on the ceiling, wondering if he should mention Yusan's rapidly disintegrating Force Ghost. He supposed he shouldn't, or Carliah would probably lose her concentration. The funny thing was, if he'd known about the former Senator's problem while he was still on the Escher, Jink could have bound him to the castle with only a small amount of effort. But here these people were, making him feel like they were doing his job for him. Oh, well. His voice was an almost inaudible whisper, mostly directed at the ghost, if he could hear him.

"Any way to slow down your disintegration?"

Taeli could feel that Carliah's mind was going a kilometer a minute, whosever soul was in that amulet had been important to her once upon a time she guessed. But with the runes done, the time had come to finish this ritual.

"Carliah, you need to place that amulet on the body's chest and then meld your energies with it and us to unleash the soul into the body," Taeli said at [member="Darth Vivaldi"]. "Time is of the essence I think, I don't know how long the runes will remain empowered with the dark side."

As [member="Darth Praelior"] hadn't made any comment about the ritual runes being messed, Taeli assumed that she drawn all of them correctly and was going about the ritual correctly. At least, that's what she hoped her master's silence was and not one of guarding herself against a potential backlash.

Carliah nodded and took a deep breath to clear her mind. She focused on doing exactly as Taeli had instructed, melding her energy with those of everyone around her andand the energy of the soul in the amulet trying to force the soul into the body beneath her. She felt exhausted by the time she had succeeded but forced herself to remain conscious to be sure that it had succeeded. She sensed Jink nearby, but for now did not comment on it. She had told him he was welcome to watch the ritual if he wanted and nothing had gone wrong. Today was a good day according to Carliah. "To tell you the truth its my interactions that a-" He was cut off as his head suddenly vanished from existence and it seemed like nothing had happened at all as the Zorren body remained still and unmoving while the amulet's glow died abruptly leaving the room in utter silence now. In truth Yusan was very much so present but right now he was fighting over possession of the body and this was no instant thing... who knows, he is probably scaring Carliah right now with how sudden it looked like the rest of him had faded.

Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah felt terrified. Had she accidentally killed him? The Mad Queen wasn't sure. She bit her lip, trying to keep her stoic expression as she got up and left the room quietly. Anythng else that needed to be done could be handled by Taeli and their Master. Once she was alone in the hallway she growled and slammed her fist into the wall, leaving a nice sized hole in the wall. She hoped that the ritual had worked and Yusan was simply unconscious and recovering from spending so much time as a soul. [member="Yusan Fenn"]

Taeli could feel, faintly, the struggle going on within the body of which soul would be retained and which would be cast into the void. As Carliah left, Taeli knew there was nothing else that she or Darth Praelior could do, it would be up to whoever's soul they had sent into the body to win and gain control. Standing nearby, she kept her sense attuned to the body, keeping track of the smallest changes in the aura as the souls battled for dominance. Carliah seemed upset that nothing immediate had happened, she could only hope that the Miraluka wouldn't be disappointed. People might lose their heads then.
